Matagal kong pinagmasadan si Matt habang tahimik nyang binabantayan ang anak nya. From time to time I would see him cry. And at this point, I cannot imagine the pain that he is going through.

"She wanted to see her child. It would help her recover faster."

May point naman sya doon. But how would Victoria even react when she sees her child na kung ano ano ang nakasaksak sa maliit nyang katawan and a ventilator is helping her breathe.

Inilapit sya ni Jason sa may incubator kung asaan nagbabantay si Matt. Iniwan nya doon si Victoria with Matt. In a way, I salute Jason for leaving her kay Matt. It will give him a chance to make it up to her. A chance for them to be a family.

Sa apat na bwan na wala si Matt sa buhay nya, alam ko naman na sya pa rin ang hinahanap hanap ni Victoria. Kami ni Jason, we just try to fill the void. Si Jason para kay Victoria, ako para kay Matt.

Hindi ko iniwan si Victoria because I wanted to remind her na kahit hindi nya nakikita si Matt, he exists. Dahil sa lahat ng effort ni Jason, natakot din ako na baka wala ng balikan si Matt pag natauhan sya.

But I was wrong. All those months, kahit hindi aminin ni Victoria, it was Matt all along. Walang laban si Jason kahit ano pa ang gawin nya.

Maya maya pa ay nakita ko how Victoria broke down. Kung paano niya hinawakan ang braso ni Matt and drew strength from him. They do not need words. That moment, something passed between the two of them.

"Look at them," sabi ko kay Jason, "they are each other's strength at the moment."

Nagulat ako ng inilapit sa akin ni Jason si Victoria. I would have wanted to spare her from seeing our daughter na ganito.

Ito yung panahon kung saan alam kong kailangan kong maging malakas para sa kanya.

This time, I didn't have to say a thing. Alam kong ramdam nya na andun ako para sa kanila. I think I already made it very clear na mahal na mahal ko sya.

We stayed that way for a while.
