'Okay guys,' Sofie said leaning into the open window. 'Remember to call Verd and check in on him.'

'We will mom,' Esme said putting on her seatbelt. 'He's fine mom.'

Sofie nodded, ignoring her. 'Thank you so much for coming,' she said to Lauren. 'It was great meeting you and I hope you'll join us more often.'

'Thank you so much for having me,' Lauren smiled. 'I had such a blast and the food yesterday was amazing, thank you so much.'

'Give Cassie our love,' Ecie said. 'Tell her to come down some time.'

'I will,' Sofie replied. 'Drive safe and study hard.'

'We will.'

'I'll see you guys soon,' Eric grinned. 'It was so great having you back for the weekend. I'm going to miss you guys. Lauren, thanks for coming, I hope to be seeing more of your face soon.'

'Of course,' Lauren smiled. 'Thank you for the great food.'

'Bye Eric,' Esme and Ecie said.

'Oh yeah,' Emily said coming forward to the driver's window. 'I'll be in LA sometime this week or next week, so I'll stop by and say hello,' she looked into the back and smiled at Esme and Lauren. 'See you guys soon.'

'Bye.'

Ecie started the engine and slowly drove out of the driveway waving. 'Bye guys.'

'Is it always like that?' Lauren asked as they entered the Pacific Coast Highway. 'It's like a mini gathering.'

'Pretty much,' Esme replied. 'But we won't see mom til October, so I guess it's not so bad.'

Lauren nodded as she looked out of the window.

'Are you going to see Taylor tonight?' Ecie asked.

'Yeah,' Esme replied. 'This weekend just made me miss him so much; so I really want to see him.'

Ecie nodded. 'So what do you want to do tonight Lauren?'

'I don't mind,' Lauren replied. 'Probably try and figure out what actually happened this weekend. It was so bizarre and surreal.'

'Don't worry,' Esme grinned. 'You'll get used to it, hopefully.'

'I really hope so,' Lauren laughed. 'I feel like my head is going to explode.'

They all laughed as they drove back to Los Angeles.
