'Okay so Taylor officially hates me,' Esme said as she did her make up with her sister and Lauren. 'He didn't look at me for the rest of our date.'
'You guys still go out on dates?' Lauren giggled. 'That's so cute.'
'The point is I messed up... again.'
'Well I told Landon about Laguna and he went weird,' Ecie replied. 'He left the room then came back like two hours later and told me how much he loved me.'
'That's so sweet,' Lauren smiled. 'What did he say about it though?'
'Nothing really,' Ecie replied. 'It's like I keep testing him and I can't stop. I feel as though I want him to break up with me so that I don't hurt him.'
'Wow,' Esme smiled. 'You really love him.'
'I know,' Ecie nodded. 'I do really love him.'
'You guys are lucky to have had such fun days,' Lauren replied. 'I spent half my day in the library looking for a stupid book then I was almost late for work because one of the coffee machines in Starbucks broke and I was waiting in line for half an hour.'
'You did not have a good day,' Esme laughed. 'But hopefully tonight will make it better.'
'Yeah,' Lauren nodded. 'Ethan kept sending me pictures of the sound check and stuff and he really wanted me to come down and see him, but I had too much on.'
'Well I'm sure he'll be happy to see you down there later,' Ecie replied looking at Lauren's reflection in the mirror. 'We should look for something to wear.'
'What kind of music does Ethan's band play?' Ecie asked looking for something to wear. 'I'm totally confused.'
'I think it's like surf-rock-punk,' Lauren shrugged. 'I don't know. I guess it's just typical California music.'
'Right then,' Ecie nodded. 'I should probably think about pants instead of a dress.'
'I'm going to go dressed in a sack,' Esme sighed. 'Or maybe I should just stay home.'
Lauren laughed as she took out a pair of dark blue J Brand 912 low-rise skinny jeans, a sheer black silk Willow devoré tank top and a black tuxedo jacket. 'Just go how I'm dressed.'
'Here you go,' Ecie passed her sister a dark charcoal Helmut Lang draped back jersey top and a pair of burgundy A.P.C. mid-rise corduroy pants. 'I think the red and grey looks cute.'
Lauren looked at Esme's clothes and nodded. 'I think so. It reminds me of something spicy and exotic.'
'Yeah that's what I thought,' Ecie agreed nodding. 'It gives the outfit some punch...'
'Okay guys,' Esme said. 'Stop fawning over my outfit. I get it, it's cute and exotic or whatever.'
'What are you going to wear Ecie?'
'Black jeans and a top,' Ecie replied pulling out a pair of black MiH Jeans Vienna low-rise legging style jeans and a black, white and blue Roberto Cavalli printed silk blouse. 'Simple and sexy. I think this looks cute.'
'Something tells me we're going to be so over dressed,' Lauren laughed as they started getting dressed. 'I guess it all hangs in our shoe choices.'
'We're going in matching shoes tonight,' Ecie grinned. 'I've ordered us all a nice little present and got our initials engraved on the soles too.'
'How do you even find the time to do all this?' Esme laughed looking at her sister. 'I swear you just get weirder and weirder every day.'
Ecie stuck her tongue out and laughed then fixed her blouse before opening a chest and taking out three white boxes. 'Ta da...'
