Ecie sat on her window ledge and sighed as she heard the dial tone.
'Hello?'
'Hey Landon?' Ecie said.
'Ecie,' he said sounding relieved. 'How are you? You've got no idea how happy I am to hear your voice.'
'I'm okay,' she smiled. 'How are you?'
'I've been so worried about you,' he replied. 'I've been waiting by my phone for weeks.'
Ecie chuckled. 'Landon.'
'I love you Ecie,' he said. 'I really do. You mean the world to me.'
'Landon,' Ecie said. 'I want to speak to you about something.'
'Sure,' Landon said sitting back in his seat. 'You talk and I'll listen.'
