'Are you sure you got the right flight details?' Esme asked looking up at the board. 'I don't think our flight number is up here.'
Taylor rubbed his forehead and looked down at their flight number before looking back at the board.
'How good are you at French?' Esme asked. 'I totally flunked that last year?'
'I'm pretty good,' Taylor said looking at the board again. 'I know I've got the right flight details.'
Esme looked at Taylor skeptically.
'See look,' Taylor said pointing. 'Our flight is delayed. Looks like you owe someone an apology.'
Esme looked at Taylor and laughed.
'What are you laughing at?' Taylor said putting his arms around Esme. 'I want an apology or you'll be flying home solo.'
'Okay,' Esme shrugged trying to get free from Taylor. 'I would prefer that.'
'Great,' Taylor said. 'How are you supposed to get on the flight without a ticket.'
'Taylor...' Esme said.
Taylor laughed at Esme as he waved her ticket at her. 'Come here.'
'No,' Esme laughed.
'All you have to do is apologize,' he laughed. 'Come on, it won't hurt a bit.'
Esme stuck her tongue out and bent down to pick the bags.
'How are you supposed to get home without your bags?'
'I see how this is going to go,' Taylor said nodding his head. 'Fine. I don't even need my bag.'
Taylor and Esme sat in a waiting area as they waited for their plane to get in for their flight back home.
Esme leant her head against Taylor's chest and closed her eyes, as Taylor rubbed her legs and pulled her over to him and kissed her head.
'Thank you for bringing me out here,' Esme said quietly. 'It meant a lot to me.'
'I know,' Taylor replied. 'I couldn't come out here without you.'
Esme looked up at Taylor and kissed him on the lips. 'I had fun this week.'
'That's great,' Taylor smiled. 'We should do it more often.'
'Yeah,' Esme nodded. 'It's weird being away on holiday without Ecie... oh god, I wonder how she's managed with the apartment and everything.'
'I'm sure she was okay,' Taylor replied. 'I bet she spent most of her time with Landon.'
Esme nodded. 'I've never really seen them together, so I wonder what they're like as a couple.'
'Landon really likes her,' Taylor replied. 'He's really gone head over heels.'
'I hope their relationship works out,' Esme said. 'He's helped her so much in getting over everything with Ellis and I think he's good for her.'
'What about when everyone else finds out?'
'I don't know,' Esme replied. 'I hope that it's not so bad.'
'Yeah well,' Taylor said. 'We don't have that problem.'
'No we don't,' Esme sighed. 'We have other problems.'
'Like what?'
'Oh you know,' Esme laughed. 'I hate to tell you this, but there's someone else.'
'I see,' Taylor nodded. 'What's he like?'
