'Do you want me to drive you to the airport?'

'Don't worry about it,' Landon breathed. 'It's fine.'

'Landon,' Ecie said blinking up at him as he worked his body over her. 'Ahem.'

'Yeah?' Landon stretched his head up then looked at Ecie. 'What's on your mind?'

'I don't know,' she shook her head. 'I feel weird.'

'What do you mean weird?' Landon said getting off Ecie slowly. He sat next to her and Ecie sat up, resting on the headrest of her bed. 'Are you okay?'

'Yeah,' Ecie nodded. She looked at Landon then looked away. 'I don't think I want you to go away. I want to come with you.'

Landon looked at Ecie and grinned. 'Really?'

'Yeah,' Ecie nodded looking at Landon. 'I really do.'

'Who are you and what have you done with my Ecie?' Landon joked.

'Shut up,' Ecie laughed getting out of bed and putting on his blue and white striped Ermenegildo Zegna shirt. She untucked her hair then tied it up in a messy bun. 'I'm going to get some water, do you want anything?'

'I want you to get back here,' Landon said. 'Hurry up.'

'For that, I'll take me time,' Ecie smiled and stuck out her tongue. She smiled to herself as she left her room and went into the pantry to get the crate of water. Carrying it out to the kitchen, she jumped when she saw Lauren. 'Oh god Lauren,' she said. 'You scared me.'

'Sorry,' Lauren smiled. 'I didn't mean to...'

'What?'

'Nothing,' Lauren replied looking at Landon's shirt and recognizing it from somewhere. 'How was your first day?'

'It was fun,' Ecie nodded opening the refrigerator and putting in the bottles of water. 'You should stop by sometime and meet everyone. They're all so nice.'

'That's good,' Lauren nodded still thinking about where she had seen the shirt last. 'What are you doing now? Esme said we're going out to celebrate your first day of your new life.'

'Well I'm sort of busy at the moment,' Ecie replied. 'But I think I might make an appearance later.'

'Right,' Lauren nodded. 'Is there a guy in your bedroom?'

'Lauren,' Ecie laughed.

'I'm sorry,' Lauren laughed. 'But you tell him that you look awesome in his shirt. It's very sexy indeed.'

'I will,' Ecie smiled taking a bottle and closing the refrigerator door. 'Is anyone else home? Will you be okay on your own?'

'Yeah,' Lauren nodded. 'Professor Newton is going to New York for two weeks and he's set us so much work to do for when he gets back. I should probably get started.'

'Yeah,' Ecie nodded. 'Well I'll see you around. Have fun studying.'

'I will,' Lauren said watching Ecie leave the kitchen. She heard her open her bedroom door then close it shut behind her. 'Hmmm.'

'I want to take you out when I get back,' Landon said kissing Ecie. 'I want us to go away somewhere really romantic.'

'Okay,' Ecie nodded. 'I would like that.'

'What are you doing tonight?'

'I'm going out for drinks with Es and Lauren,' Ecie replied. 'I think Taylor and Verd will be joining us too. Apparently we're celebrating the first day of my new life.'
