'God Taylor,' Esme said pushing his legs off her. 'You've been squashing me all night. Get off.'

'But I love you,' Taylor laughed sleepily. 'Come back to me baby.'

'You're such a loser,' Esme laughed sitting up and rubbing her eyes. 'Are you going to leave me alone today?'

'Nope,' Taylor sat up slowly and stretched. 'I thought we could have a lazy day.'

'Well think again,' Esme laughed. 'I don't want to spend a lazy day with you.'

'Who would you rather spend it with?' Taylor said. 'I'm the best.'

'Ha,' Esme laughed. 'You wish.'

'What were you going to do today?' Taylor asked.

'I want to go shopping,' Esme replied. 'I'm going to drive up to Calabasas and see Ecie for a bit then I'll drive back tomorrow evening.'

'Aren't you working tonight?'

'I'm afraid not,' Esme smiled. 'Do you want to come up to Calabasas?'

'I'm alright,' Taylor replied getting out of bed. 'I'll leave you and E to catch up and stuff.'

'What will you do?'

'Parade up and down the Venice promenade looking for girls,' Taylor said going into the bathroom. 'Then I'll bring them back here and line them all up for you.'

'What the hell Taylor?' Esme said lying back down again and pulling the covers over her head. 'You're such a loser.'

'But you can't get enough,' Taylor laughed from the bathroom. 'When are you leaving?'

'As soon as you've left me alone,' Esme replied. 'When are you leaving?'

'As soon as you leave,' Taylor replied walking back into the bedroom. 'We can exeunt together.'

'In that case...'

Taylor jumped onto the bed and tickled Esme as she squirmed and giggled in his arms.

'Taylor!'

'Have you talked to Ethan?' Esme asked as she got dressed into a purple Aubin and Wills striped Charfield cotton dress.

'Yeah,' Taylor replied. 'Have you talked to Lauren?'

'Yeah,' Esme replied. 'She's doing okay. She says things have improved since we took them out.'

'I should hope so,' Taylor replied. 'Ethan didn't really say much, but he's a shy guy.'

'Can you imagine it,' Esme said. 'Two of the worlds shiest quietest people going out with each other. How on earth is that supposed to work?'

'It means they don't need words to communicate,' Taylor replied. 'They can just sit and be with each other.'

'Do you wish I was like that?'

'Oh yeah,' Taylor said. 'I wish you wouldn't make fun of me all the time and just accept that I'm better than you in every way.'

'Jealousy,' Esme said sitting down to her makeup. 'I always knew.'

'Oh right,' Taylor laughed. 'All that bull crap about guys being jealous of their girlfriends.'

'You know it's true,' Esme said looking back at him. 'Don't try and fight it.'

'Hey Verd,' Esme called from the kitchen as she poured herself some orange juice.

'Yeah?' he replied walking in with a towel around his neck. 'What's up?'
