'What about this?' Emily held up an orange and navy Japanese inspired Versace long sleeve floral print dress. 'This is cute.'

'Yeah,' Ecie looked up from her box of clothes. 'I'm figuring out what shoes I'd wear with that.'

'Hmm,' Emily nodded. 'I'm never really sure about Versace though, sometimes it can be really garish.'

'But always sexy,' Ecie smiled. 'Versace is always super sexy.'

'I know,' Emily giggled. 'Totally.'

Ecie laughed. 'Is this better than being stuck studying?'

'Yeah,' Emily said. 'Are you kidding me?'

Ecie laughed.

'I hate never hanging out with you,' Emily smiled. 'You're so cool with your little fashion closet.'

'Ha,' Ecie laughed. 'I could run an empire from here.'

Emily laughed. 'Not that you'll have any time with all your auditions.'

'I know,' Ecie replied. 'I'm so glad I left school. There is no way any of this would be happening if I had stayed.'

'Yeah,' Emily agreed. 'It's so cool you could be a Lakers Girl.'

'I know,' Ecie nodded. 'Everybody is so excited about it, but all I really care about is being able to get through the auditions. They are so brutal.'

'What stuff have you been doing?'

'Loads of dance and core work outs,' Ecie replied. 'I'm doing cardio and lots of circuit training as well.'

'It's good that you're kind of used to this then,' Emily smiled. 'You'll be fine.'

'Ahhh,' Ecie shook herself. 'It's cool. So what have you been up to?'

'Just trying to finish all my work,' Emily replied. 'I'm so close to the end.'

'So do you already have a place to go after you've finished school?'

'Yeah,' Emily replied. 'My mom has a friend who'll take me on for a bit.'

'Ha,' Ecie laughed. 'Maybe I could be your first patient.'

'I thought you already one?' Emily laughed. 'Is she not doing a good job?'

'Carole has been so amazing,' Ecie smiled. 'She's has gone far above and beyond.'

'I can see that,' Emily grinned. 'You're glowing.'

'One second,' Ecie laughed reaching for her BlackBerry. 'Hello?'

'Hey,' Landon smiled. 'Could you open the door?'

'Are you outside?' Ecie laughed getting up.

'Yeah,' he said. 'I've been calling up for the past half hour.'

'I'm sorry,' Ecie laughed making her way towards the door. 'I was in the closet with Emily. I didn't hear.'

'Don't worry about it,' Landon said. 'It's cool.'

Ecie hung up as she opened the door and smiled at Landon.

'Hello stranger,' Landon smiled hugging her. 'You look amazing.'

'Shut up,' Ecie laughed kissing him. 'You brought me flowers?'

'Yeah,' he said. 'But they're not for you. They're for the apartment.'

'I see,' Ecie laughed. 'Come in.'

They walked into the apartment and Ecie went to the kitchen to find a spare vase for the flowers.
