'Okay now Es,' Kenny, Dan Bushmore's friend, said holding up a camera. 'Just walk towards me slowly and just pretend like you're taking a stroll on the beach.'

'Like this?' Esme laughed walking towards Kenny.

'Just like that,' Kenny laughed. 'Now Dan I want you to run up behind her and just frolic in the sand.'

'You want us to frolic?' Esme laughed.

'Yeah,' Kenny laughed. 'Dan, sort of run behind her and pick her up then spin her a little. As you bring her down I want you to kiss her and you guys are going to pretend to be madly in love with each other.'

'Okay Dan,' Esme said. 'Try not to drop me.'

'I'll try my hardest,' Dan laughed. 'Are you ready?'

Esme nodded and Kenny shouted: 'Action!'

Esme walked towards Kenny, who was slowly walking backwards, and Dan jogged slowly up behind Esme. He held his arms up and swept Esme up in the air spinning her slightly. As he brought her back down to the sand they kissed.

'I love it,' Kenny said walking towards them. 'Just a little bit longer, we've almost got it.'

They kissed for a few more seconds before Kenny called 'Cut.'

'That was great guys,' Kenny smiled as Esme brushed her hair back. 'I think we might even be able to get this whole thing done in one day.'

'You think?' Esme said.

'Yeah,' Kenny said. 'It's great that you guys used to date, the chemistry is still there.'

'Thanks man,' Dan nodded. He looked at Esme. 'So where's the next stop?'

'You're going to be driving a car and Esme will get out and run away from you,' Kenny replied. 'You'll be cruising around the neighborhood and find her lying in a pool of blood.'

'Why does she run away from me?'

'Didn't you read the script?' Esme laughed hitting him friendly.

'It was like one sheet of paper,' Dan laughed. 'It wasn't exactly much of a script.'

'Well basically you're playing a guy who has these really intense hallucinations,' Esme replied. 'I'm not really real and you've just imagined me all along.'

'I thought it was a love story.'

'It is,' Esme laughed. 'It's just got a twist on it.'

'So then what happens in the end, is that you kill Es and you're holding up a bloody knife,' Kenny said. 'It turns out that you've been stalking Es for a while and you kill her.'

'Right then,' Dan nodded. 'I get it. It sounds good.'

'I know it does,' Kenny grinned. 'I'm amazing.'

'Well I can't shoot tonight,' Esme replied. 'I'm going out to support a friend's band. You guys should definitely come too.'

'Are you sure Taylor won't mind?' Dan said. 'I don't feel like getting my perfect model face punched.'

'He's not going to punch you,' Esme laughed. 'Kenny?'

'Sure,' Kenny nodded. 'Why not. Just text me the address later and I'll meet you there.'

'Cool,' Esme smiled. 'So we're also working on this tomorrow?'

'Yep,' Kenny nodded. 'I need to get some shots of you guys doing couple loving stuff. What did you guys used to do when you dated?'

Esme and Dan looked at each other then back at Kenny.

'Have sex,' they replied. 'A lot.'

'Okay,' Kenny nodded thinking fast. 'I don't want this movie to turn into some kinky porno...'

'Okay Dan,' Esme said. 'Remember this isn't real.'

'You're the one lying on top,' Dan laughed. 'I promise not to enjoy this too much.'

'Shut up,' Esme laughed hitting his chest. She looked back at Kenny. 'Do you just want us to do our thing?'

'Yeah,' Kenny nodded. 'Please don't make any noises, just move back at forth rhythmically, and Dan I want your hands caressing her back.'

'Are your hands cold Dan?'

'Feel them,' Dan said putting them on Esme's cheeks. 'They're warm.'

'Okay,' Kenny said holding up his camera. 'Are we ready?'

'Give me a moment,' Esme said taking a deep breath and rubbing her hands together. She pressed her palms on either side of Dan then nodded. 'I'm ready.'

Kenny counted in his head. 'Action.'

'How was it today?' Taylor asked as he sat in Jamba Juice with Esme.

'It was good,' Esme nodded looking across at Taylor. 'Kenny said that we would only have to work tomorrow and then it'd be done.'

Taylor nodded. 'So what is the whole thing? I don't understand.'

'It's supposed to be a love story,' Esme replied. 'It's about this couple and they're really happy and stuff, but then he kills her and it turns out that the guy had only imagined her and he killed her because he was a psycho.'

'Nice,' Taylor laughed. 'How long is this thing supposed to be?'

'Eight minutes,' Esme replied. 'It was nice playing on the beach today.'

'Oh yeah,' Taylor nodded. 'Dylan said he saw you on the beach filming some stuff with these two guys and couple of other people.'

'Well it was Kenny,' Esme replied. 'He's the director and camera man. We had to shoot things from different angles.'

'What sort of stuff did you do today?'

'Mainly kissing stuff,' Esme looked at Taylor. 'We shot a silent sex scene.'

Taylor looked at Esme.

'Don't get mad,' she said. 'I already warned you about this and it's not like anything happened. The sheets were pulled up to my waist and I was wearing a shirt. All I had to do was move forwards and backwards and sit still.'

Taylor nodded. 'Dylan said he saw Dan too.'

'Well Kenny is Dan's friend,' Esme replied. 'Dan was the one who told him about me.'

'So who's the guy?'

Esme looked at Taylor.

'What?'

'You're going to get so mad...'

'Oh my god Es,' Taylor said. 'It was Dan wasn't it? Why didn't you say this before that you were filming this thing with Dan?'

'Because I knew that you'd get mad like this,' Esme replied. 'You always seem to get mad when I talk about him.'

'He's your ex boyfriend who is still madly in love with you,' Taylor replied. 'He's tried kissing you like a thousand times.'

'Well he's over it now,' Esme replied. 'We're officially just friends and he knows it. I've told him that I'm not going to be with anybody other than you. He understands it.'

Taylor sat back at sighed. 'Whatever.'

'Taylor...'

'You are just so fucking unbelievable,' he said shaking his head. 'It's everything you fucking do.'
