Chapter 5: A Somerhalder

Astrid's POV

A slave vampire entered the room with a pair of clothes for me. She placed it above the bed silently but she's looking at me with anger. How dare this slave look at me like that. I'm the f*cking seductress. I'm superior than her. No one ever disrespect me specially a slave.

"Do you want me to rip your neck, slave?" I asked and step closer to her. I don't mind killing her. She's a vampire after all.

She held that gaze with pure envy and hatred. "You should be grateful master Alexander likes you!" She screamed.

"And why would I be grateful? That as*hole made me a prisoner!" I shout back breathing hard, trying to control myself from snapping.

"Master Alexander never saved a vampire before. He's ruthless and evil but not killing you is insane! And you attempted to kill him."

Hindi ko na siya sinagot dahil halata namang may gusto siya kay Alex at naiinggit siya sakin. Hindi ko naman gusto ang posisyon ko ngayon kaya ako naiiinis ay kung bakit siya naiinggit. Hindi ko maintindihan. Ano bang meron sa Pureblood na yon?

"What's so important about him?" I asked before she can completely leave the room.

"He's a Somerhalder. Even the King is afraid of him." She answered and closed the door.

The king is afraid of him? Ang alam ko Pureblood din ang king at makapangyarihan kaya bakit siya takot kay Alex? Does it mean Alex is more powerful than the king? Kung ganon paano na ako makakatakas niyan?

I sighed frustrated and picked up the dress and undergarments and went to the bathroom. Remembering Alex's warning I made sure that the door is locked and secure before stripping from my clothes. I wouldn't want that horny Pureblood from sneaking. As I've said, no one had ever seen me naked and I'm planning to keep it that way which means I need more control in my body when Alex is around.

After a cold shower, I laid in bed with a wet hair and stared at the white ceiling.

"What now?" I asked talking to myself. "Dito na lang ba ako sa kwartong 'to habang buhay?"

"Of course not! Hindi ako papayag. Gagawa ako ng paraan para makaalis dito." Sagot ko din sa sariling tanong. I sat up determined to go outside.

Napangisi ako nang buksan ko ang pinto at hindi ito naka lock. Stupid slave. I thought. Hindi pa siguro ako tatakas ngayon. Kailangan ko munang makuha ang loob ni Alex at pag-aralan ang lugar bago ako tumakas.

I frowned when I was greeted with long hallways in both my side. I started walking to my right hoping that its the right direction. How come this place is so big? Is this a freaking palace?! There were different paintings in walls that probably cost a million. I grabbed the nearest painting in my side and broke it into two pieces. I smirked at the finish product. This is for keeping me here in a day.

I reached a stair case going down to a big empty space and different doors. I raised my brow when I saw a guard vampire at the end of the staircase. A meal. I thought licking my lips. Its like I haven't eat for ages.

"Good morning lady. Can I help you?" The guard greeted trying to be polite but the smell of arousal is obvious.

"Can you show me the garden, please?" I asked biting my lips and caressing his neck. I felt him shiver under my hand and if possible the scent of arousal grew even stronger.

"Of course, its a pleasure to be with a breathtaking lady like you."

I smiled and kissed his cheek. He started walking and I followed closed to his side to the point that I can hear his harsh breathing. That's the effect of being a seductress. I can make a guy hard for an instant. The dress I'm wearing probably helped and the killer hills I had before I passed out into Alex's chest when I drank his blood.
