Astrid's POV

It's been three days since Teresa's funeral and I am currently eating pepperoni pizza in the living room alone while watching some boring drama on the television. As I've said, I wasn't a fan of sitting and watching stuffs on tv nor any movies but I guess that's what happens when you're suffering from depression.

Alex, being a busy business man he is, is at his office, working at some sh*t I don't really care. Since Teresa's funeral I've been distant to him though he made a lot of effort to show his affection.

"He's cheating on you, stupid bitch!" I exclaimed rolling my eyes at the actress portraying the character of a wife who was being cheated on by her not so handsome husband.

Grabbing another slice of pizza from my lap, I continued watching the annoying show and shoved the whole slice in my mouth. I know something's wrong with me. I hated the show yet I kept watching it. I'm totally not in a good state.

"You cheating bastard! Buti naman sana kung ang gwapo mo. Ghaad! They could've chosen a more attractive actor than this one. Baka mas tanggap ko pa." I continued throwing insults while other vampires in the house made sure to stay away from me.
Wala ako sa mood kaya mas makakabuti sa kanila ang lumayo sa akin kung ayaw nilang masaktan. I could easily kill them. I'm good at fighting remember?

Mamaya-maya pa ay biglang pumasok sa living room si Leon at masayang umupo sa tabi ko. Napakunot noong tumingin ako dito.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?"

"Wala lang. Kinukumusta ka." Sagot nito na napatingin sa pizza-ng kinakain ko.

"Si Elise kasama mo ba?"

"Nope. I left her at home."

"You left her alone?"

"Well... yes." Hindi siguradong sagot nito. At dito na nga ako nag-umpisang maghinala. Knowing, Leon, hinding-hindi niya iiwan mag-isa si Elise sa kahit na saan.

For all I know he's obsessed with her. Lalong lalo na at may banta ang council kaya talagang imposibleng iwan nito si Elise sa bahay nito na kung saan wala siyang kasama para saan? To visit me? Hell no! It doesn't sound like him.

"What are you watching?" Maya-maya ay tanong nito na kumuha ng isang slice ng pizza.

"The stupid bitch and her ugly cheating husband."

"Whoa! You sure love this show." He exclaimed sarcastically.  "And you sure have high standards. The guy isn't that ugly."

I rolled my eyes and slapped his hand when he was about to take another slice.

"Ow! That hurt."

"Cut the crap." I said with a blank face, facing him.

"What did I do? All I want is pizza." He pouted like a child. 

"Leon doesn't eat pizza."

"He don't?" After a second, he realized what he just said and fake coughed. "I mean, yeah, I don't really like pizza."

"You are such a fool, Damien." I said shaking my head in disapproval.

"Damn! You caught me again."

Unti-unting nagbago ang anyo nito hanggang sa maging normal ito. Ewan ko ba sa pureblood na'to. He claims to be a Somerhalder but is so stupid to my opinion. If he will pretend to be someone else then at least don't make it obvious. How could he fail for the second time?

"Ayokong masaktan ka, kaya naman sasabihin ko ito sa pinaka-maayos na paraan na alam ko. You know what, Damien? You don't deserve that ability. I had such high expectations of purebloods, but you've been disappointing me. How can a pureblood like you be so stupid? Sorry to tell you but you are such a disgrace to the pureblood race. I'm sure no one can use that ability worse than you do." After that, I focused my attention to the television once again and devoured the last slice of pizza.
