A Surreptitious Date

Astrid's POV

"Where are you going?" Alex eyed me suspiciously.

"The usual." I said applying lip gloss on my lips.

"Where exactly?" He asked again. This time his tone is more serious indicating that he can tell something's going on.

"I"m going to visit Teresa!" I exclaimed a bit irritated.

"Pero kagagaling mo lang doon kahapon."

"So what? I can visit my friend whenever I want. And don't try to stop me. You've kept me for several months that I don't even get to see her. Kahit ngayon man lang makabawi ako." I almost applauded myself for the big lie. I wasnt good at lying but I somehow sound a bit convincing.
He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me towards him. "I told you, I don't share.

"W-what are you talking about?" These is one of the times I hate the most. Where he can make my knees tremble from fear. Alam kaya niya ang tungkol kay Adrian? No way!!

"I'm warning you my sweet little Astrid. You don't know what I'm capable if doing when I'm mad. You haven't even seen half of it." His lips descended on mine giving me a punishing kiss. His nails around my waist is digging against my skin. I whimpered but he continued kissing me.

"Don't tell me I didn't warned you." He said walking away leaving me in complete daze.

Looking down at my waist, I'm not surprise to see that my shirt is a bit ripped from his sharp nails. What the hell is wrong with him?! Ngayon kailangan ko nanamang magpalit ng damit.

Ano bang problema niya? He's talking riddles. Imposebleng alam niya na magkikita kami ni Adrian ngayon. But knowing, Alex, he must've made someone follow me. Well, I had always been very stubborn so I freaking don't care. I can meet and date whoever I want.

You haven't even seen half of it. His voice echoed in my head. What does he mean by that? Those things I've seen, how he killed those vampires is not even half of what he's capable of doing?! I know he wasn't lying for sure.

At dahil nawala na ang mood ko, tuluyan ko nang pinunit ang damit na suot ko at naghanap nalang ulit ng iba. Okay lang naman dahil hindi ko naman pera ang pinambili ko ng mga damit na ito. It's all from Alex's black card anyway.

"Am I late or you're just a little early?" Tanong ko kay Adrian na malawak ang ngiti. We've decided to have coffee like what he insisted from the last time and meet in a coffee shop.

"I guess Im a bit early." He answered chuckling.

"Are you that excited to see me?" Pang-aasar ko.

"To be honest, yes. There's no need to lie." He said sipping his coffee without looking away from me.

I smirked. I like him this way. I don't like meek guys and he's opposite that. Isang tingin lang, alam mo na siya ay isang professional na malaki ang tiwala sa sarili.

"I feel very lucky." Sambit nito.

"Why?" I asked curiously.

"Look around you. Everyone's obviously captivated by you. They're all jealous of me because I'm with you."

Looking around, I realized he's right. Dati-rati naman ay pansin ko agad ang tinginan ng mga tao sa akin. I can see they're amazed at my beauty and I can smell the arousal of men around me. But today, I didn't quite paid attention to that. Dahil siguro nakay Adrian ang attensyon ko. I can't blame myself though, I can see Liam in him and I just can't keep my eyes away from him.
