I felt a quick pain in my neck caused by the mark Melo left. Hissing, I covered it with my hair to hide it from Alex's gaze. But knowing Alex, I can't hide a thing from him. He will always know and I was always a terrible liar.

"Show me your neck." He commands staring intently at the covered skin.

"I'll take care of this." Sinubukan kong umiwas at naglakad patungong banyo para linisin ang sugat ko at para narin maka-iwas sa kanya.

He saved my life. Dalawang beses na niyang niligtas ang buhay ko. First, when I drank his poisonous blood. Kahit pinagtangkaan ko ang buhay niya at siya ang rason kung bakit muntik nakong mamatay, iniligtas parin niya ako. I still don't know how he managed to save me from the verge of death. Pangalawa, kung hindi siguro siya dumating kanina, baka napatay na ako ng Melo na yon. Melo is a freakin' strong vampire to my dismay.

I ripped the one strap of my dress and opened the faucet. Closing my eyes, I poured water over the fresh mark. I felt his presence before Alex can even touch me.

"Leave me." I refused to look at our reflection in the mirror.

"Next time call my name." He whispered and lowered his head in the mark. He licked the wound and it slowly healed to my surprise.

"Only the vampire who gave the mark can heal it. Tell me Alex. How many abilities do you have?" I asked facing him resting my hands in the sink to support my back. "I've seen you kill a vampire before with fire. You can cause pain to others using your mind. Erase memories and replace it with something else. Save me from death and heal a mark you never gave."

"I am obviously gifted." He smirk running his fingers to my healed neck.

"No wonder even the King is afraid of you. You sure you are not a royalty or something?" I raised a brow and ignored his naughty hands that are now making its way below my breast.

"No I'm not." He became silent for a few seconds and what he said next shocked me.

"Stop hunting. Hunt me instead."

My eyes widened and I started laughing hysterically. "Are you being serious?"

"Yes. Make me your prey." He doesn't look like he's the person who jokes around so I assumed he is serious about it.

"No I can't." I avoided his gaze.

"Why?"

"You're smart. You know very well why. You want to be my prey? Being my prey means drinking your blood. There is no way I'm going to drink again from you." I explained. Is he insane?

"Then stop it. Stop seducing vampires. I'm going to give you fresh blood if you want just please stop hunting."

Did I heard it right? Alexander Somerhalder said please? Purebloods don't plead. And hearing it from a Pureblood like Alex is very foreign.

"Why? Why do you like me to stop hunting? I've been doing this almost all my life." I need answers.

"I told you I don't share." He whispered huskily and attacked my lips kissing me aggressively. I didn't kiss him back but he didn't stop until he gets a respond from me.

"You are mine Astrid." He managed to say between kisses. He ripped the remaining dress leaving me in a pair of undergarments. The teared dress fell in the bathroom floor and I step out of it.
