Astrid's POV

It's already been thirty minutes since Alex shoed me away like a f*cking stray cat. Thirty minutes waiting for him so that I could ask him everything and thirty minutes of sitting in the living room in complete annoyance. Muntik ko na rin subukang magtago malapit sa magkapatid na Somerhalder upang palihim na makinig sa pinag-uusapan nila pero narealize ko na mararamdaman nilang pareho ang presensiya ko. They're just probably talking about family matters and that doesn't include me so Alex shoeing me away is completely understandble. But I was stubborn so I couldn't get myself to understand him.

Ayoko naman talagang umalis pero kahit na ganito ang pag-uugali ko, may respeto parin ako sa pribado nilang buhay. They're brohers though they don't seem like a family and it's obvious they don't get well with each other so who am I to interfere. I'm not part of their family anyway and I'm not planning to.

"F*ck!" I screamed when I felt something wet in my cheek. I was ready to kill whoever scared the living sh*t out of me when I didn't saw anything.

"What the hell?" Napamura muli ako nang may marinig akong humahalakhak sa tabi ko.

"Calm down my friend, it's just me." Damien suddenly appeared from out of no where and it took me a second to realize that he licked my cheek with his tongue.

"F*cking disgusting. Get your filthy mouth away from me! Do that again and I'm going to f*cking cut your tongue." I hissed.

Damien chuckled to my annoyance. "Damn, you're so cruel. That's why I like you. So adorable."

"Damnit! I hope you don't have f*cking herpes!" I exclaimed with total disgust.

"You dumb or something, Astrid? Pureblood don't get herpes." He laughed with insult.

Sa galit ay napatayo ako akmang sisipain siya nang bigla siyang nawala at muling nagpakita sa tabi ko.

"Bullsh*t! This is why I hate purebloods. F*cking special abilities." I cursed when my attempt to attack him failed.

"What's wrong with you people and your temper? Can't even take a simple joke. I was just you know... I ahmm... sort of tasted you." Scratching his head I was sure he was born to annoy the living sh*t out of me. I'm even sure I've cursed a lot today more than my whole life and it was all because of him.

"Gross!" I exclaimed wiping my cheek with the back of my hand. The thought of meeting another Somerhalder made me excited but looking at Damien in front of now, I regret wishing to meet him. He's a complete scum and he looked like he's enjoying himself on pissing me off.

Wala pa naman siyang ginawa na talagang ikinapahamak ko pero ang magkunwaring si Elise ay ibang usapan na. I hate being tricked the most and being lied to. I'm a liar myself and I lie probably on daily basis every time I kill a vampire but I hate being lied to. Sounds unfair but life's also unfair so no one have the right to question me about that matter.

"Alex, get your annoying brother away from me before I ended up killing him!" I roared when Alex entered the living room. There was a prominent anger in his eyes that I've only noticed now.

"Be careful with your words sweetheart. You're forgetting I'm still a pureblood." Damien's eyes changed into a terrifying red color for a split second, his tone was deadly serous and I felt my heart stopped for second. Those eyes. I think I've seen those eyes from somewhere that brought fear into my heart.

I was dumbfounded for a second before those eyes were replaced by Alex's one blocking my view from Damien.

"I told you to leave, Damien." Alex said referring to his brother but his eyes were focused on me like it was looking for something hidden deep within me.
