Vampire Island
Alexander's POV
"She's been taken to the council."
Those words from Damien's mouth freezes me from my seat. Lifting my eyes off my paper works to my brother to make sure he wasn't playing jokes with me and to my dismay, he had the same terror in his eyes indicating that what he just said was true.
"What did you say?"
"Father just informed me that Astrid was taken last night, and... and..." Damien was not able to finish his sentence as I have a feeling that whatever it is, it will get me in fury.
"And what?! Tell me!" I roared, slamming my fists against the wooden table, breaking it in two. My papers were scattered on floor but I couldn't care less when Astrid's in danger.
"She was taken to the torture room by Giovanni Terrel." Damien informed almost afraid at my anger.
My eyes change into a bloody red color as the thought of Astrid getting hurt is making my blood boil. My claws are coming out and I can feel myself being enveloped by anger.
"If that bastard did something to Astrid, no, if he just laid a hand on her, I'm going to fucking kill him." I promised.
"We both know you can't go against the council." Damien added.
"I can and I will." I said with determination.
"Brother I highly device that you don't." Damien said shaking his head.
"And what? Let Astrid get killed? Hell no! I wouldn't let that happen. They have to kill me first before they can."
"It won't be easy. "
"Where is father right now?" I asked while grabbing my black coat.
"I believe he's still in his manor as tomorrow is Astrid's..."
Hindi ko na siya pinatapos sa pagsasalita at hinablot ang susi ng isa sa mga sasakyan ko at gamit ang angking bilis ay napa-andar ko na ang aking sasakyan sa loob lamang ng ilang segundo. Pinilit kong pakalmahin ang sarili ngunit nanaig parin ang matinding galit at kaba sa puso ko.
Kilala ko ang council, alam ko kung hanggang saan ang kaya nilang gawin. Wala silang sinasanto. Sa oras na labagin mo ang kanilang mga batas ay kailangang magbayad ka. Alam ko na lumabag si Astrid sa batas nila ngunit wala akong paki-alam. Hindi ko hahayaan na patayin nila si Astrid. Sana nga lang ay hindi pa huli ang lahat para mailigtas ko siya.
The council is lead by the vampire king and there is only one way to save her and I need my father's help. But if my father will refuse to help me, then I have no choice but do it in a bloody way.
While driving, my thoughts were flooded with Astrid. She's been taken to the torture room. I know how everything works in there but I'm not quite sure what they did to her since it was Giovanni, that bastard, who took her. There were different scenarios in my head and it's driving me insane. As much as I tried not to think about it, I couldn't.
My eyes remained red and my hands were gripping the wheel tightly as I drove in a speed limit. Grabbing my phone with my right hand, I dialed my pilot's number.
"Prepare my jet. I'll be there in ten minutes, no, make it five." I ordered as I stepped on the pedal.
"Yes, sir." I heard him answer before I ended the call.

After two torturous hours, my private jet finally arrived at the vampire island, where the council is located, and a resident for a few pureblood and vampires.
