I raised a brow when Alex put a jacket in my shoulder.
"Your dress is too revealing for my liking." He said and I chuckled adjusting my dress. Is he being a gentleman now?
"Wala naman akong sinabi ah." Sagot ko at hinayaan ang jacket na nakapatong sa balikat ko.
"You don't have to say anything. I know what you were thinking."
My eyes widened. "You can read minds now?! You sure have a lot of special abilities." I exclaimed.
What if he can read minds? It means he would know I'm thinking of how hot and sexy he is. Even the dirty thoughts I have in him. I'd be embarrassingly doomed.
"Unfortunately not." Sagot niya. "But your facial expressions are too obvious."
Nakahinga ako ng maluwag sa sinabi niya. "I hope you're not lying."
"Come here." He demands, his voice husky.
"No. Kailangan na nating umalis. Late ka na sa business meeting mo. And I'm really craving for blood." Pag-iwas ko na inunahan na siyang sumakay sa loob ng kotse niya.
Ten minutes and we've reach our destination. I smiled inhaling deeply and moaned."I miss the smell of the city."
"Don't moan." Alex warned who lead me to the entrance of the elite club. I thought business meetings are supposed to be held in the office not in clubs. Well, I guess I'm wrong. Its vampires we are talking about.
"I'm not moaning." I argued and let him hold my waist.
"You just did a while ago."
"Okay fine I did. Now let's go. I smell food." I said rolling my eyes and walked pass him.
"Call my name if you need me."
"Don't worry I won't be needing your help. Good luck with your business meeting dear Alex. I hope you win the deal." I said and winked. I noticed him clenched his fist before I finally enter the club licking my lips at the process.
I miss this. The smell of liquor, bodies dancing with the music and most specially, the smell of vampires I've been dying to kill.
"Hey, miss. I would like to have a dance with you." I stared at the human beside me who have his hand offered in front of me. He look so sure I'm going to accept his offer. He's handsome, he look like an actor but I still don't want to consider humans.
"Sorry I'm not interested." I smiled and left him, stunned.
"But I don't take no for an answer. Just one dance. Wala naman sigurong mawawala." Pamimilit pa ng lalaki at hinawakan ang braso. Kung hindi lang siya tao baka nabali ko na ang kamay niyang nakapatong sakin.
"Excuse me." Sambit ko at pilit na inalis ang kamay niya sa balikat ko. "I don't want a dance so remove your hand." Mahirap talagang maging maganda.
"Whoa! Fiesty. Gusto ko talaga ng mga babaeng palaban." Inilapit pa niya ang katawan sakin.
"Palaban ba kamo? E kung baliin ko kaya ang mga buto mo ngayon?" Pagbabanta ko pero hindi man lang siya natinag. This human is getting in my nerves.
