Epilogue Part II

"Alex, what do you mean by everyone?" I asked, looking up at him.

We were walking side by side after seventeen years of being apart, we are finally together.

"You'll see." He replied once again, eyes from afar.

So I kept silent and just enjoyed this special moment with him. Lia is following right behind us giving us a little privacy together 

I looked up at Alex. He's still as handsome as ever but I know something has changed. I can feel it. Though I'm holding his hand, I feel like he's not with me.

I did all the talk, I told him stories from the past seventeen years, how I'd managed to move on but he never said anything. Just nodded his head and smiled.

Nang makarating kami sa labas ng mansyon ni Alex ay napatigil ako. Is this even real? Am I really back? Everything felt surreal. Even Alex felt surreal. Parang hindi siya totoo. Parang hindi ko siya kasama.

Bago ako pumasok ay hinawakan ni Alex ang balikat ko at iniharap sa kanya.

"Before you go inside, I just want you to remember that I will always love you for eternity and I will do everything, anything just to make you happy. I'm sorry and I love you." He said looking straight to my eyes. His eyes are red, not from anger or anything but because he was trying hard not to cry.

"What's wrong?" I asked. He looked sad.

But then he gave me a reassuring smile before slowly pushing me inside the manor. "Go, they're waiting for you."

I wanted to ask him who but I know he'll never tell me, so I'll just see for myself.

"Mom?" Lia was beside me, holding my arm as we entered the manor. Her hands were shaking from fear. Fear from what? Alex?

"Yes, sweetie? What's wrong?"

"He's dea—"

Lia was cut off when we saw what greeted us.

"Oh my god. Is this real?" I asked in surprise, my eyes watering. "Ma? Pa?"

My parents was standing side by side. Sarah is here too, as well as Liam. Thet all had wide smiles in this faces.

"Is this a dream?" I asked myself. Is this just my hallucination?

"Mom who are they?" Asked Lia which answered my question. 

"My family." I replied softly. My parents smiled, opened their arms as I ran towards them.

Habang yakap-yakap ko sila ay hindi na ako nag alinlangan pa. Totoo ngang buhay sila at nasa harap ko ngayon.

"I miss you, darling." Bulong ng mama ko.

"Hindi niyo po alam kung gaano ko kayo na-miss. It was hard without you." Umiiyak na sambit ko.

Pinunasan ng papa ko ang mga luha sa mata ko at hinalikan ang noo ko. "My beautiful, Ivanna. What took you so long to come back? We've been waiting for you."

"I'm so sorry." Umiiyak na sambit ko.

"Ivanna." Tawag sa akin ni Sarah.
Umalis ako sa pagkakayakap sa magulang ko at lumapit sa matalik kong kaibigan.

"Sarah...." I was crying. Sunod-sunod ang pagpatak ng mga luha ko habang pinagmamasdan ang mga taong nasaktan at pinatay ko.

Lumapit din sa akin si Liam agad akong niyakap.

"Patawarin niyo ako. Hindi ko sinasadyang patayin kayo." Hindi ko alam kung mapapatawad pa ba nila ako sa ginawa ko. After all, I was the one who killed them mercilessly. "Please forgive me. I'm so sorry."
