Trade Show
Astrid's POV
"FYI, Leon took Elise to his house." I informed at Alex as he fix his tie while I fix my own makeup.
He chuckled, "I wondered how long will it take him. Turns out he worked faster than I expected him to be. I'm guessing it was because of Damien."
"Of course. Aside from the fact that Leon loves Elise, who else would be the reason if it wasn't because of your brother." I said as a matter of factly.
"Ano bang meron kay Damien at nang nalaman niyang nandito ang kapatid mo at agad na sumugod si Leon dito para kunin si Elise?" Nagtatakang tanong ko kay Alex na lumapit sa akin at hinaplos ang likod ko na hindi natatakpan ng backless dress na suot ko.
"I told you before. Damien wanted everything anyone can possibly have including you but he learned his lesson." Alex placed a soft kiss on my exposed back.
"What do you mean he learned his lesson?" Humarap ako dito at pinalibot ang aking mga braso sa leeg nito. I wondered what he meant because as far as I'm aware of, Damien never once made a move on me. Well, aside from, licking my cheek and trying to put a sunscreen on me. It still wasn't considered hitting on me. It would take something more serious than that.
"One of this days I will take you shopping. Ako ang mamimili ng damit mo. You know I hated this kind of clothes." Alex said with a scowl on his face trying to change the subject.
"Do not f*cking change the subject, Alex." I snapped removing my arms around him.
"I already warned him to stay away from you and I think he got my message. That's all you need to know."
"You are such a jerk, Alex." I said shaking my head disappointedly at him not because he was acting like I can't have any other man aside from him but because he never once satisfied me with his f*cking stupid answers.
Magkapatid nga sila. Ni minsan ay hindi nila sinagot ng maayos ang mga tanong ko. Kung hindi nila iniba ang usapan ay kulang at walang katuturan ang kanilang mga sagot.
"We both know you don't mean that." Alex said sweetly and hugged me from behind his hands wondered in my stomach and chest.
"Of course I meant it." I said rudely glaring at him from the mirror. "Tara na nga. Hindi na ako magtatanong pa dahil alam ko namang hindi mo din lang ako sasagutin ng maayos."
Grabbing my purse from the bed, I walk past him and headed to the garage where his cars were parked. Alex is attending a trade show tonight in which he asked me to accompany him and I gladly said yes. He will also be driving for the second time.
A trade show is where a company in a specific industry showcase their new products and services. I do not think the show will be open to the public though and will only be attended by business tycoons, company representatives and some members of the press. I like these types of parties mainly because there will be a lot of tasty vampires tonight so I don't really have a problem with being Alex's date.
I think I should only be targeting the company representatives tonight because business tycoons will be a lot harder and messy. Ayoko nang maulit pa ang nangyari kay Mike Gomez na hindi ko naman alam na CEO pala ng isang sikat na hotel. His death was all over the news and social media's and I only got to use his car once.
Well, baka hangang ngayon ay gamit ko parin ang napakaganda at napakamahal na sasakyan nito at pati narin ang ibang mga sasakyan na 'ninakaw' ko kung hindi ko lang nakilala si Alex. I also miss my house so much. It's not as big as Alex's mansion but its been my home for the past years.
