"Breaking news. The CEO of the Westin Bund Center Hotels, Mike Gomez was found dead in his room this morning. He died at the age of 25 because of blood loss and investigators never found a single wound in his body and everyone was shocked at his mysterious death. His credit card and car was missing and its obvious it's another case of robbery. He was last seen with a very beautiful girl last night which is the prime suspect but the said girl was never found."
Hindi ko na pinatapos ang balita at pinatay ang tv. Its obvious right? I was the girl they were talking about. I smiled at the compliment. Beautiful girl, huh? I know I am. Nasa balita, news paper and social medias na pala ang pagkamatay ng lalaking yun. Twenty-five years old? Of course he isn't. Kaya mayaman siya ay dahil bampira siya at matagal ng nabubuhay.
Vampires only hire vampires and they are not stupid to not to realize the real reason of Mike's death. They wouldn't want to risk the possibility of the media and authorities to learn that Mike is killed by a vampire and he himself is one of them. It would be a great news since the vampires society is still hidden from the public. Kaya naman ang mga bampirang ito na mismo ang gumagawa ng paraan para ma-dissolve ang bawat kaso ng pagkamatay ng mga bampira. They are more than happy to have the business he left and thankful to me, the killer for doing the job they intend to do. Vampires are cruel.
Nasa bahay ako ngayon at walang magawa. Hapon naman na kaya kunti nalang ang hihintayin ko bago mag gabi. Don't get me wrong. I'm a vampire but it doesn't mean that I'm afraid of the day. Sadyang gabi lang talaga ako lumalabas dahil mas maraming bampira pag gabi. At kumakain din ako like a normal person.
I'm living in a mansion with ten different cars parked in the garage and a very wide garden. And yes, I'm living alone. Bumaba ako sa queen size bed ko at kinuha ang susi ng bago kong kotse. I'm talking about Mike Gomez' car. Of course they tried tracking all the missing cards and cars, they just haven't found me yet.
I bought groceries not for myself but all of this is for Teresa. She's 80 years old and she's living alone. Siya ang nag iisang kaibigan kong tao. I've known her since she was a little girl and now I'm afraid to watch her die. May malala siyang sakit at dinadalaw ko siya once a week. I offered help but she refused. And the least thing I can do is buy groceries for her and look after her.
"How are you Tere?" Tanong ko habang inaayos ang mga pinamili ko sa mesa.
"Ayos lang ako. Still kicking!" At nagawa pa niyang magbiro.
"Sana tumatanda rin ako kagaya mo." Alam niyang isa akong bampira at siya lang ang nakaka alam nito.
"Ano ka ba Astrid, sa mala dyosa mong ganda gusto mo pang magaroon ng wrinkles sa muka gaya ko?" Natatawang sambit nito.
I smiled at her sense of humor. Nag stay muna ako sa bahay niya at saka nakipagkwentuhan bago magpaalam kay Theresa. I put on my fake glasses, before leaving her house. Pinarada ko ang sasakyan sa harap ng isang building. Napangiti ako dahil siguradong maraming bampira dito.
I made my way inside the building and realized that the auction has started. Hindi ako nandito para bumili ng mga mamahaling bagay, kundi para maghanap ng bampirang mabibiktima. I just rolled my eyes at the thought. Vampires are here to buy ancient things and for me, that's complete shit.
Do you get what I mean? They were living for a very long time and they should be used on old things. Heck! Some of them are even older than those things they've been dying to buy. So bakit pa nila kailangang bumili at magwaldas ng milyon-milyon? Of course, for fame! San pa nga ba? They were like, "Hey, fellow vampire, I bid this on this amount. I'm wealthier that you!" Kung sino ang mas mayaman, siya ang mas sikat.
Bakit hindi nalang nila idonate sa charity ang yaman nila gaya ng ginagawa ko? Oo nga naman. Because they are cruel beings. And I'm seeking revenge against them for killing my family.
I surveyed the room. The room is filled with elite people and half of them were vampires. I abruptly stopped on my track as I caught a vampire seating at the back and he was looking at me intently, to my surprise. I stared back at him waiting for him to look away but several seconds past and I couldn't take his piercing eyes anymore.
Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero parang na conscious ako bigla sa hitsura ko. I am the seductress, I am very confident of myself and on my beauty but no guy had ever made me feel this way. He have black hair and a pair of captivating eyes that are still watching me intently.
Napansin kong iba siya sa ibang bampira. He look more handsome and he's skin is much paler. By his posture, he's oozing with so much power that made me want to go near him. Merong something sa kanya. Hindi ko lang alam kung ano. Basta hindi siya isang simpleng bampira lang, I'm sure of it. I don't think he's a pureblood, though.
I smirked when I decided to make him my next victim. I bet his blood would taste good. Sayang nga lang ang kagwapuhan niya kung mamamatay lang siya. He's too good to be my victim but I had made my mind.
I licked my lips at the thought. Adjusting my fake glasses, I walked and sat beside him. Kahit isang beses, hindi man lang niya inalis ang tingin sa akin. Nag focus ako kunwari sa nagsasalita sa harap pero nararamdaman ko ang tingin niya sa akin.
"Why are you staring at me like a stalker?" Tanong ko dahil gusto ko nang umpisahan to. Because I'm thirsty for his blood, his scent made my mouth water.
"What's your name, gorgeous nerd?" Sa halip ay tanong niya sa akin.
As much as I hate to admit it, his voice sent sparks to my nerves. I blushed at his compliment and I almost cursed myself. What?! Did I just blushed? Hindi ko pa naranasang mag blush. Like, never! Kahit noong tao pa ako.
I was supposed to be the seducer here at hindi siya. No man had made me feel like this before. It frustrated me pero sinubukan kong hindi nalang pansinin iyon at pinagana ang pagiging seductress ko.
"Astrid, my gentleman." I whispired seductively, leaning close to him and I licked his ear. I've always been so blunt and tried to work faster as I can. I want to get this over.
Nagbago for a second ang kulay ng mata niya into red at napangiti ako dahil ang ibig sabihin lang nun, umuubra and pag si-seduce ko sa kanya.
The color of vampire's eyes changes when they feel strong emotions like anger and lust. And now that he's falling into my bait, I wouldn't let him go until my fangs are sank deep into his pale skin.
