Astrid's POV

Tinanong ko si Alex kung para saan ang second floor ng blood bank na ito and it turns out it was a mini bar where pureblood can order blood like an alcohol in bars.

I don't know how much Alex paid for this nor I cared. I'm used to killing vampires anyway. Ang pinagka-iba nga lang ay hindi ko na kailangang magseduce because they were already offered to me to be eaten. The screamers were much more entertaining to kill. Their screams as I sank my fangs was very satisfying. No matter how much they begged, I didn't care. They deserve to die in pain.

If these vampires were going to die because a human learned about their existence then what about Alex? Elise is a human. It was obviously his decision to show her he's a blood sucker. At hindi lang iyon, dinala pa niya ito sa pamamahay nito. Lumabag din siya sa batas pero bakit andito parin siya?

I asked him about that and he answered with a smart ass answer.

"Just because I'm a Somerhalder and I'm more powerful than most of the pureblood from the council."

"Kung ganon' bakit hindi ka miyembro ng council?"  Tanong ko dito.

"One Somerhalder as member is  enough. I'm sure they couldn't handle us kung dadagdag pa ako.Besides, I have no interest about being part of the council." Paliwanag nito.

"That will make you more powerful though."

"I'm already powerful, my princess." He whispered as he seductively wipe the blood from my lips with his thumb.

"Tell me, Alex. Why exactly did you bring me here? Walang kahirap-hirap ang uminom ng dugo dito but for sure it's better to feed with a challenge." Tanong ko dito na ang tinutukoy ay ang pagseduce at minsan, pagtalo sa mga bampirang palaban.

Honestly, I already have an idea but I just wanted to hear it from him. I know it will somehow make my heart flatter, and I liked that foreign feeling despite the fact that I hate being treated like a puppet. I know. Pati ako ay naguguluhan narin sa sarili ko. I must be insane.

"I once asked you to hunt me instead. I wasn't asking you to feed on me but to seduce me and only me. If I had taken you to an elite club, I don't think I can control myself from burning every sigle male that would approach you, let alone, touch you. We wouldn't want innocent humans to get involved right? So I took you here, where there's no need for seduction." Alex's arms wrapped around my waist as he leaned closer for a kiss but I avoided it and walked towards the door leaving him with the dead bodies of vampires inside that room.

I was frustrated with him for thinking he owns me and to me for letting him treat me like his puppet. It was probably because I've seen what he's capable of doing and I don't want to lose my life yet and get other humans involved. What happened with Adrian was enough. Ayoko nang mangyari pa ulit iyon. If I didn't begged Alex, he probably ended up killing Adrian.

"Hanggang ngayon ay wala ka paring ideya kung ano at sino ako, Alex. I have a mission and in order to accomplish that, I need seduction as a weapon. Second, I told you no one owns me. I might be staying with you but that doesn't mean I'm yours. Masyado ka lang talagang makapangyarihan na kahit na anong gawin ko, hindi ako makaalis sa puder mo." I said harshly as the doors to the elevator opened.

Alex stepped inside with me and trapped me between his body and the cold wall of this narrow elevator.

"You still don't understand, my princess. You are mine, from that moment I saw you. At may mga bagay akong nalalaman tungkol sayo na kahit ikaw sa sarili mo ay hindi mo alam."
