All your life you've tempted fate
Run away from your problems
Hidden from the monsters
And faced things that weren't right
Stop running and hiding
But now it's too late
Your sins have caught up
Never can anyone run for long
It just catches up
Be brave, be brave
Your mind repeats to yourself
Closing your eyes tight
Tears stream down your face
Chest heaving, lips bleeding
Teeth meet flesh
And you taste blood
No more running, no more hiding
Time to face your mistakes
Hands shaking, body trembling
You savor your last moments
Face to face with your biggest sins
Eyes bloodshot you look it in the eye
Somehow you find the courage
The courage to smile in the face of death
The last thing that rings through your head
Is the thing you told yourself every moment
Be brave, be brave
