I took her hands within my own
Listen to me I cried
Tears streaked her face
I closed my eyes
For a moment
And she escaped my grasp
And turned away from me
I reached for her
But I drew my hand back
Not sure what to do
She turned back toward me
And ran into my arms
As I put my arms around her
I felt a sharp pain
Within my side
She pulled away
And I looked down
At my blood stained clothes
To where a knife pierced
Deep within my side
I looked back at her
And tried to speak
She pulled out the knife
And blood poured out
I sank to my knees
As she stabbed me again
This time in my cheek
Quickly I pulled out the knife
As she looked at me in horror
Realizing what she had just done
A bloody tear rolled down my face
I placed my hand on her cheek
As tears rolled into my palm
I grimly smiled at her
Not being able to will myself to speak
I closed my eyes
As more blood seeped out through my wounds
Drenching my clothes and staining the floor
Time seemed to slow as I fell to my side lifeless
