Love a painstakingly known word
Difficult to describe
It isn't always easy
It's a long and difficult path
Things will get bumpy
And you'll want to give up
But if you really love someone
You will know that you can't
That you have to keep trying
Though there are times
When you just don't
Want to try anymore
So you try to make it easier
Though it just gets harder
Leaving is not a solution
It's not going to fix everything
Sometimes you'll dispise it
And wish that it won't find you
But love will always find you
No matter how far away you run
Though love is a game
A game of chance
And deep down
It just feels like a deception
That you aren't good enough
That you aren't worthy
Though love will be there
A haunting reminder
Of what you could've had
A thing you gave up on
