People eye you as you walk by
Like you're behind glass
At the circus
A commodity to see
A freak of nature
Something that shouldn't belong
Treating you like an animal
A monster
Like you don't look right
So it sets you apart
Only kept around for humiliation
So they can feel better
About themselves
But sometimes you wonder
Wonder if they are right
Sometimes more than others
Until it clouds your thoughts
Slowly moving until it takes over
Your entire being
Until there is no life left
No light hidden in your eyes
Draining all hope away
When it is gone
The truth of the world
Comes crashing down
And crushes you
Since it is too much to handle
Leaving you breathless
And taking your life
In its wake
An abomination
Wiped from existence
