Wasting Away

With each breath

Each passing moment

A fragment of my soul perishes

I'm dying inside

Fading away into oblivion

Feeling like another piece

On the vast playing field

An expendable member

I'm not needed here

I never was

Sometimes I feel as if

I was put here

For others immediate satisfaction

Pretty face, nice body

Captivating smile

And very alluring

Once people get what they want from me

They leave and prey upin their next victim

I'll watch you leave

I'll shed many tears

You will never look back

I gave you want you wanted

And you took what I gave

Though I'll recuece nothing in return

One day I'll disappear

I'll vanish into the unseen folds of history

Only my family will remember

But once they are gone

My memory will perish with them

But for now I'm just slowly
