Have you ever felt a warm breeze
But then it fades away
And soon your skin
Does not know the sensation
Of the winds breath
Or when you're computer fails
And pops up with error
That is my life
I am the system that has failed
The memory long forgotten
The touch faded from your skin
The face that is no longer seen
Such as a simple rainfall
Here one day and gone the next
And soon you forget
Forget the feel of the rain
Something taken for granted
Unfixable, a piece of junk
The sunlight that no longer
Shines down on bare flesh
No matter how hard you try
To engrave it in your memory
It somehow slips away
And I too shall fade
Fade away like the previous day
Becoming a thing of the past
Long past it's due date
Leaving behind a world
That will not remember
Anything about her
And nothing about
Who she was
