Life was painful
Living everyday lie it was a nightmare
Feeling hopless, and depressed
I didn't know what it was like
To be happy, to taste true joy
Until one day I met her
Bright blue eyes that sparkled with anticipation
Staring at me from across the way
I fell in love that very moment
A zing, a connection, a bond
Fireworks went off in my soul
My heart leaped and whispered
"That's the one"
Everyday I had a new reason
To fall in love all over again
Smiling, laughing
Feeling happy and light
Light as a feather
Like nothing could hold me down
She completes me
Like how a puzzle isn't right
Isn't right without that last piece
I feel like a whole new person
Waking up every morning
Feeling like I have a reason to live
I fell in love with the best girl
The best girl in the world
And man is she perfect for me
