Chapter 4

Zayn woke up, feeling happy because today is the day Louis would bring him back to his daddies and Li. He noticed the empty space beside him and frowned, 'Must be in the bathroom.' Zayn thought before getting up and heading to the bathroom, "Lou?" he called.

"Louis, I need to use the bathroom." Zayn knocked and when no one answered, he opened the door. "He must be buying food." Zayn shrugged before using the toilet.

It's been 10 minutes and Louis still hasn't come back, and it worries Zayn, "Lou didn't forget me, did he?"

After waiting for 5 minutes, Zayn decided to go out, "Maybe the lady knows where Louis is." Zayn said before going to the front desk, "Have you seen Louis?" he asked.

"Who?" the lady asked, clearly annoyed the she has to keep whoever she was talking to on hold.

"Louis, the man I came with." Zayn answered.

"No, kid, now go away." the lady said.

Zayn frowned and looked outside, his eyes widened and ear perked up in alert, the car was gone! Louis left him!

Louis woke up first the next morning, he felt a heavy weight on his chest and turned to look at it. He blushed when he saw Zayn cuddled to his side purring softly. It didn't help when he remembered last night's event; Zayn crawling on him, him comforting Zayn and Zayn dragging him to the bed.

'Zayn's too innocent and trusting for his own good.' Louis thought.

He carefully untangled himself from Zayn and quietly went to the bathroom to wash his face and ready himself for the day. When he was finished, Zayn was still asleep. Louis bit his lip, feeling guilty on what he is about to do, the only plan he can come up with to get rid of Zayn. His plan was to leave Zayn in the motel, and then Zayn would just cry and the lady would call the police once she get to see Zayn's child like personality, then the police will call his parents, right? Surely Zayn knows their address and can tell that to the officers since that's one of the most important things that parents teach their children, right?

Don't get Louis wrong, he doesn't hate Zayn or anything, in fact, he enjoys the company for a change. Someone who doesn't judge him from the crime he was framed, someone who isn't scared to talk to him. But it would be selfish of Louis to bring Zayn with him. Zayn has a family who is probably looking for him. Plus, bringing Zayn with him to his mission to find his father would be dangerous for the younger hybrid.

"I'm sorry, Zayn." Louis said softly as he took one last glance at the sleeping boy, "It's for the best."

Louis sneaked out of the motel, successfully avoiding the lady at the front desk since she was busy chatting on her cellphone. He walked fast to the car and started the engine then drove off.

"Shit, I'm almost out of money." Louis cursed when he realized that there was only a little money left in the wallet he found in the car.

He frowned and sighed, "I guess I have to steal again. Sorry, Mom."

Louis parked the car at a little shop he found, there was only a few people in there so things will be a little easier for him.

"We would like to file a missing person case!" Niall immediately said to the officer in the front desk, "Please, our son, Zayn was taken from us! And so is our car." Niall added.

"Niall, maybe you should calm down a little." Harry suggested while Niall keeps throwing information at the poor officer, who Niall keeps cutting what he was about to say.
