Chapter 22

"Are you alright, Cal?" Ashton said as he felt his half dog friend tense.

"Yeah, don't worry, about it." Calum gulped, "Er, I... need to step out though." he said before running out.

"What's up with him?" Michael asked while eating his chips.

"He must've smelled a squirrel or something." Ashton shrugged after placing a card down.

After the morning meeting they had, Louis went out to do something, leaving the four in charge with Zayn.

They were just playing UNO, cards provided by Ashton, to pass the time.

"Hey, did Zayn eat already? I don't think he ever came out of their room yet." Michael said while looking at his cards.

"Now that you said it, I haven't seen him today yet." Luke said before placing his cards down with the back side up, "I'll go check on him. Don't cheat." he glared at Michael who only smiled cheekily at him.

Luke just squinted his eyes at him before leaving to check on Zayn.

"Zayn?" Luke knocked before opening the door.

Whimpers and mewls were the only things Luke heard. He eyes then landed on Zayn, who is laying on the bed and squirming around.

"Z?" Luke called as he walked closer.

His eyes widened as he saw how red Zayn's face is and how he is sweating and panting.

"L-Luke..." Zayn whimpered.

Luke's eyes widened and cheeks flushed as he realized these symptoms, "Z-Z... are you... is it...?"

Zayn cried and whimpered looking at Luke, begging for him to stop this weird sensation again.

"L-Louis will be home soon, okay? Just wait, Z." Luke blushed.

Zayn just went back to whimpering, mewling and squirming on the bed at the uncomfortable needy feeling.

Luke may have studied a lot on what to do, but actually seeing an omega in heat flustered him, especially someone like Zayn.

He's so innocent and begging to be knotted right now, and the thought actually made Luke hot, but immediately shook it off, and walked out, feeling embarrassed with the dirty thought.

"Any idea when Louis will be home?" Luke asked as soon as he entered the living room where Ashton and Michael are.

Michael let out a tiny squeal as he retrieved his hands from looking at Luke's cards. It would piss Luke off because Michael had been tampering with his cards when he leaves, but there's something way more important than their UNO game right now.

"Anything wrong?" Ashton asked while looking at Luke in worry.

"Well, er, Zayn's..." Luke blushed, embarrassed to say the term, "Zayn's an omega... and... it's that... time..."

"Oh...? ...Oh!" Michael's eyes widened.

"So that's why Calum ran off..." Ashton sais.

"Yeah, Zayn's not really looking good right now." Luke explained, "I would buy some medicine but I need Louis' permission cause you know... maybe he takes care of that... himself..." Luke blushed.

"I don't think he'll spend too much time in the open, he'll be home soon." Ashton said.

"I'll try and cool Zayn down a little then." Luke said, remembering that an omega overheating isn't good.
