Chapter 3

"No, no, please don't cry!" Louis begged, looking around him to find something that would calm the crying hybrid, but all he see are grasses and trees.

The road was empty and there's no car passing by that much, but Louis' not risking of getting caught if someone ever passed. There's a hybrid crying his heart out on the trunk of his car... That would really make Louis look bad, "Hey, please don't cry, I'm not going to hurt you." he pleaded again.

"I w-wants my d-daddies a-and L-Li..." Zayn sobbed and crying harder.

Louis' ears flattened, as much as he wants to bring the poor boy back, there's no way he could cause first, he'll get caught and go back to jail, and second, he really doesn't know his way back, he was just driving and avoiding not taking notes on where he was passing since he never intend to go back. Louis sighed, from the looks of it, Zayn's not going to stop crying unless Louis does something, so Louis did what he knows that'll work, he hugged the crying hybrid.

"Shh, it's ok, love, don't worry." Louis soothed as he rubbed the black kitten hybrid.

"W-want d-daddies a-and L-Li..." Zayn's cries were reduced to sniffles, so Louis continue to rub his back in a comforting way, "W-who a-are y-you?"

"I'm one of your daddies' friend." Louis lied.

"W-why'd you take Papa's car?" Zayn asked.

"I was just... borrowing it, I didn't know you were in it." Louis lied again.

"Go back to daddies and Li?" Zayn asked.

"I... Uhm, I'll bring you back but not right now." Louis decided to say, but quickly regretted it when Zayn started crying again.

Louis hugged Zayn tighter in an attempt to comfort him, "It's because we are too far from them and our gas is really low right now, we need to look for a closer place to sleep first. You don't want to sleep on the car over night, do you?"

"...No..."

"Well, how about we stop crying now and look for a place to stay?" Louis asked to which Zayn nodded and raised his arms, asking to be picked up.

Louis was surprised, first this grown boy crying for his daddies and 'Li', whoever that is, and now he's asking to be picked up? Well, Louis did noticed how his fathers were babying him yesterday when he was at the tree house close to his bedroom.

Whimpers pulled Louis out of his thoughts, Zayn was still in front of him still with arms raised, "Ok ok, I got you..." Louis decided and carried Zayn. Louis' shocked to see how light Zayn is for someone his age, but didn't say anything and just closed the trunk then head to the passenger seat to settle Zayn in.

Louis didn't go to his own seat first. He decided to have some air to process everything that just happened. He can't just leave the hybrid out here all alone, but he knows he have to get rid of him as soon as possible. Once Louis got on his own seat, he noticed how tense his new companion is, "I sent a text to your Dad saying you're with me." Louis lied in attempt to calm Zayn down and not look suspicious, not that Zayn's suspecting something wrong though, "What's your name?" he decided to ask, since the cat hybrid seems to act like a child, maybe interacting with him in a gentle and friendly way can loosen him up.

"Z-Zayn. Y-You?" Zayn said shyly while playing with his black tail.

"I'm Louis. How old are you, Zayn?" Louis asked as he started the car to look for a place to stay the night, he was hoping he could find a motel close by since he really is low on gas, he was also hoping that nothing happens bad during the night.

"Uhm, 18." Zayn answered, still a little shy.

"Cool, I'm 22. Is there something you love to do, Zayn?" Louis asked, his eyes on the road.
