When Two Worlds Collide [Zouis Talik] [BoyxBoy]

S2 Chapter 6

It's been a week and everyone inside the Styles' residence is slipping into their own routine.

Everyone eats breakfast together before they all split up and do their own thing.

Harry, Liam, Louis, Luke and Michael would get ready and go to the family's bakery.

Calum and Ashton used to help around the house, but today they have a follow up interview with the employer.

Niall and Zayn have their usual tutor session, then Niall will take a rest before starting with his chores while Zayn's either playing or napping or doing whatever kitties do in their free time.

The whole thing is really new to Louis. It's been a long while since he's in a functional family, and even if he feels awkward, he loves the good change. Harry is still a little strict around him, but at least he isn't as hostile as their first meeting. Liam's slowly warming up to him, even joking with the hybrid once in awhile, though when Zayn comes in the picture, Liam has his overprotective brother mode on. Niall's the same, gentle with him as always.

As for the other four boys, Louis' surprised that they seem to easily make themselves comfortable, Michael's already telling a lot of stories during their mealtimes, Ashton joining in and telling his own, both are cracking jokes making the entire household laugh. Luke and Calum are still a little reserved, though, but they sometimes show their outgoing side when encouraged, usually by Michael.

Louis couldn't help but feel a little jealous about that. It's like they were already a part of a family while he still feels a little isolated and like they're still hesitant around him.

Zayn makes it better though, he always make sure Louis' included in the conversation by asking him innocent questions and bragging about how Louis takes really good care of him. The brunette hybrid couldn't help but feel his chest swell with pride, especially when he see the subtle impressed looks from Harry.

"Don't you think we should also have some savory desserts here too?" Michael said while icing some cupcakes, "I think bacon cupcakes will draw a lot of customers."

"Yeah, that's actually a nice idea, people can satisfy their hunger better than just plain sweets." Harry nodded as he and Luke each carry a tray of unbaked cookies to the oven.

"Pizza bread sounds really nice." Luke agreed before closing the oven.

"The mini tuna pies you made last night was delicious. I think it will make a good addition in the menu." Louis tried adding some of his thoughts too while he arrange some decorated donuts in a box, his cat ears twitching while his tail slowly sway.

"Yeah, he's right." Michael nodded as he look at Harry.

"Hmmm... yeah, I'll talk about this with Liam and Niall." Harry said as he wipe his hand on his apron, "Are those done, Louis?"

"Yeah." Louis nodded before closing the box, and placing it with the other finished packages.

"I'll take those outside." Harry said before carrying the boxes outside to be displayed to the customers.

"Do you think we'll get a raise for suggesting innovative ideas?" Michael whispered as he leaned in on his two friends.

Luke just chuckled, "Just keep working hard, and I'm sure you'll get something out of it."

"Like you?" Michael winked at Luke as he kept on nudging him softly.

"Not now, Michael." Luke rolled his eyes before cutting some shapes on the dough he just finished rolling out.

"Why don't you love me?" Michael whined before pouting and laying his head on the blonde's shoulder, "Louis, tell Luke he's being mean to my feelings."
