Chapter 20

After a brief silence, Louis had manage to find an escape route. He's still not safe though. The dog hybrid managed to track his scent and now Louis was being chased.

In his beast form and with Luke's training, Louis' eyes were better in the dark. The brunette dived in the forest in hopes of losing the three enemies. As he ran, something tackled him from the side. They rolled for a few minutes and stopped in a clear area. The moon light illuminated them above, making Louis realize that it was the dog hybrid earlier.

Dark eyes glared at Louis as he growled at him. The guy has a tight hold on, but Louis managed to throw him off. With his sharp claws, Louis managed to scratch the enemy's bisceps, making it bleed. Louis pinned the dog down, ready to kill until there was a sharp pain on his back. He reached for it and found out it was those shots they shoot animals to knock them out. Louis began feeling dizzy and everything blacked out.

"Are you sure that's really him?" Louis heard faintly.

"Yes, it's him! I can't ever forget what happened to him. Louis Tomlinson was arrested for being involve in drugs and killing one of the client." one answered.

"Are you talking about that time...?" another voice asked.

"Yes... and now that we found him, we can make a change and escape this life!"

It caught Louis' attention and he decided to not let them know he's awake in hopes of learning more about what they are talking about.

"Okay, that's good. I'm so sick of living in fear."

"Will he help us though?"

"Well... uh... not sure... but why else would he be at the building? Wouldn't he want revenge or something?"

"Well, what if he wanted to team up with his father instead?"

"If that's the case then he wouldn't have tried to escape but ask us to take him to the boss."

"Yeah, he got a point there."

"When do you think he'll wake up? It's almost an hour now, they probably noticed we're gone by like... several minutes ago."

"You're right... How about you and Cal go back? Get Cal's wounds treated and make an excuse for me while I wait for Louis to wake up."

"Okay, we'll be back here as soon as the shift's done. Let's go, mutt."

"Don't fucking call me that, asshole."

Two pairs of feet were heard walking away.

Louis listened as the remaining one shuffle around before the person sat down.

It was silent for a while and Louis decided it's time to 'wake up'.

His ears twitched as he heard the guy rush to him, "Oh, good! You're finally awake."

Louis turned and he was greeted by a man with curly blonde hair and hazel brown eyes.

The hybrid didn't return the smile given by the man, instead he flashed a confused look.

"Ah, right! I'm Ashton!" the man smiled again, pulling his hand out but blushed and pulled it away when he realized they tied Louis up.

"What's going on?" Louis asked.

Ashton sat infront of Louis, "Alright, I'm sure you don't know me." Ashton began, "But I know you already before you were arrested."

Louis' raised his eyebrow at him, "What do you mean?"
