Chapter 15

"Z, come on, take a nap." Louis sighed when he saw Zayn still wide awake.

When they entered the room, Louis couldn't help but stare at it in awe. Sure the mattress looks lumpy and stained on the black bed frame at the corner of the room, but still, it beats sleeping outside where it's cold and dangerous.

Sleepiness hit Louis once he and Zayn laid down, unfortunately, it's not the same case for Zayn anymore. The young hybrid playfully started nuzzling and biting Louis' arm softly. Despite the short nap he took on Luke's couch, Zayn's immediately full of energy, and he kept on begging for Louis' attention.

Zayn didn't really feel good when he saw Louis' attention on someone who isn't him, so now that he has Louis for himself, he's going to do anything to be showered with attention.

The older hybrid usually find this playful side of Zayn cute, but he's too tired to deal with the energetic hybrid. He explained this softly to Zayn, but only received a whine and a pout. It made Zayn stay still and quiet though, so Louis just wrapped his arms around the small hybrid and hope that sleep will come to them both.

"Lou, play...!" Zayn whined after a moment of silence.

"I'm really sleepy Zayn. Come on, after we took a nap, we'll play." Louis yawned.

"Not sleepy." Zayn argued, "Already took nap earlier."

Louis sighed, "Well, you can go outside and watch tv if you really don't want to sleep."

It made Zayn think, watching cartoons really sounds good, but Louis won't be there to cuddle with him, "Lou go with me." Zayn nodded.

Louis sighed, "I'm too sleepy right now, Z."

Zayn pouted and just stayed still around Louis' arms.

Louis sighed in relief after a moment of Zayn not whining, and not too long after, he fell asleep.

Zayn tried closing his eyes in hopes of falling asleep, but no matter how hard Zayn tries, he just couldn't. He looked up at Louis and debated on whether he should wake Louis up or not. Fortunately for the sleeping hybrid, Zayn decided not to, instead, Zayn tried to unwrapped Louis' arms around him and head outside.

Zayn's ears twitched when he heard a soft static sound after closing the door. The little hybrid followed the source, which lead him to the living room.

His head turned in curiosity as he watched Luke fumble with the small tv's antenna.

"Stupid reception..." the blonde said in irritation as he continue to adjust the antenna until he can see a blurry scene on the screen, "I guess that's goo- oh for fuck sake..." he cursed when his hand accidentally moved the antenna and he was stuck with a static channel again, "Fuck it then... I guess I'm stuck with that shitty show... as always..." he sighed before pressing on the tv's buttons to reach a blurry but still watchable channel which happens to be showing some kind of reality show.

"Bad words." Zayn tsked, which made the other jumped.

"Whoa, didn't notice you there, buddy." Luke responded.

"You said a lot of naughty words." Zayn tried to act stern.

"Uh... Sorry...?" Luke answered awkwardly while scratching the back of his head.

Zayn nodded before sitting on the old couch, "What are you watching?" he asked.

"Uh, I'm not really sure..." Luke shrugged.
