Chapter 24: Mackenzie

Keiko ran to Kai's lap. I walked over to Chen and I watched it even thow I didn't know what was going on. It was peaceful and a stress free night.

Keiko's P.O.V.

I woke up in bed by my alarm, I don't remember going to bed, but I look to my side to see Kai sleeping like a baby. I couldn't help myself from smiling and kissing him on the forehead.

-*softly* Hey babe wake up... Remember. We have the Open house today. (Keiko)

-*kiss* I'm up. *smile* (Kai)

I changed into a gray knit dress added a few accessories and wore my black thigh high boots. I had to bring an extra bag for the special performance, so did Kai since he and I also needed to be waiters after our performance. I was going out of my room to wait for Kai at the door when I saw Baekhyun run past me scared for his life and D.O following him with a devil like aura, then I see Chanyeol run by laughing and holding a camera. Kai seems to be surprised to he lays his head on me wondering too about what's going on. While Kai and I watch the scene from afar, I hear a camera shutter go off. I look around but I don't see anyone. I go closer to the scene while holding Kai's hand a bit worried.

-Guys. What's going on? (Kai)

-Baekhyun mix up all my toiletries. *pout* And some of my stuff that you bought for me is missing. *puppy sad eyes* And Chanyeol was filming and laughing the whole time. (D.O.)

I look at Baekhyun the "You're in big trouble" look and I look at Chanyeol the "Are you serious" look. The two duo look at the floor ashamed.

-Baekhyun and Chanyeol may I remind you that you are ADULTS!! So appologize to D.O. (Keiko)

-Sorry... (Baekhyun and Chanyeol)

I grab D.O.'s hand, and walk away from them while Kai is laughing at Baekhyun and Chanyeol. I give the task to Suho for their punishment.

Isabella-Rose's P.O.V.

I wake up, and go and shower. When I get out of the shower, Chen is waking up. He begs me to come back and cuddle I shake my head at his and get dressed, he sits there pouting.

-Remember it's the open house. (Isabella-Rose)

His eyes widen and he starts to get dressed he seems a bit happier. I finished first because I don't have to put makeup on and because I had a head start, I sit on the end of the bed. I wore a black hoodie and jeans. Chen had just finished when we heard a yell from outside. I go to open the door and just as I open it Baekhyun and D.O. run by and then Chanyeol comes running too. I'm too tired to deal with them. I feel strong arms wrap around me. Then Chen's head snuggles into my neck. I slowly walk to the kitchen he's still hugging me. I get into the kitchen and make eggs for Chen. To wake him up. I make a Chai latte for myself. Chen is still hiding in my neck. Keiko walks in looking mad...

-What's wrong? (Isabella-Rose)

-Some of the people in this place are idiots. (Keiko)

As she walks by with D.O. sad and moping, they go into her room with Kai behind then following probably to help her. I start laughing making Chen groan.

-Stop moving.. (Chen)

I hand him his plate of eggs. He reluctantly takes it and sits on the counter. I finish making my tea and go over to him right when I'm close enough he pulls me towards him. I wonder why he is like this. I drink my tea as he keeps me close.

*Time skip* During school

I go to my class while Chen goes to his class, he has not left my side all morning. As we get further apart I feel a pain starting to build in my arm. I wonder why it hurts I did nothing to it. It takes me a while to remember that I can feel Chen's pain and he can feel mine. I make a note to ask him what happened. As I walked to my teaching class a girl comes up to me and trips me and she walks away laughing I get up and brush it off. The teacher comes in.

-Hello everyone today we have a new student her name is Mackenzie. (Teacher)

I look and see it was the girl who tripped me. She met my eyes and she smirked at me. After the class I went to find Chen. He was already looking for me so he got to me first. I look at him...

-What happened to your arm? (Isabella-Rose)

-I hit it last night while you were asleep. Sorry, I didn't tell you but I sort of forgot about it until you were showering and I could feel it so I tried to stay close so you wouldn't feel it. (Chen)

-It's okay babe. (Isabella-Rose)

I say as I hug him I can feel him smiling. As we pull away there was a yell...

-OMG!! Why would you be with that piece of junk? Why not be with me hot stuff.

Chen looked up and saw Mackenzie he looked around confused until she came up to him, pushed me out of the way and hugs him. He looks scared. I feel a pinch on my butt and Chen jumps she pulls away while handing him a piece of paper. As we walk to lunch, she calls him and dragged him away. Leaving me in more pain than before. I go to the table and the others ask where Chen is. I tell them he wanted to help a new student, because I didn't want anyone to worry.

*Time skip* The open house

As I get ready and warmed up Chen walks in with Makenzie attached to his arm. Miss Theresa came in to give us a pep talk.

-Okay. *clap* You guys got this. *clap clap clap clap* Now get out there. *clap clap clap clap*

-Okay *clap clap* (Isabella-Rose)

-Makenzie... I'm here for the dance class. Okay I will help you learn the steps.

While we were performing Makenzie was always in the way and hitting us when it came to the solo and the singing part she stood in the center of the stage and she just stood there. Keiko tried to sing but Makenzie started to push her out of the way. They almost fought but it ended and Keiko walks off stage. Even the guys had a hard time performing because of her. She was backstage make so much noise and trying to get attention from the guys. The Open House finish so we change back and I take off the itchy makeup I was forced to wear. Makenzie walks in and just sits on Chen's lap and starts bragging about how she can talk and rant in french. She tells him her life story and he just sits there.

*Time skip * At Home

We walk into the house and I just go to bed because I'm in pain all over the place. I get into the room and take a blanket and I creep to the guest room. There are 3 guest rooms so I pick the farthest on. I'm doing this to give Chen some space. I set up my bed and I'm asleep in seconds or what I thought was seconds. The next thing I know I'm still not asleep, it has been half an hour, Why am I not asleep? I think I hear the door open. I'm too tired to look, I turn over so I'm on my stomach. I'm lifted up then, I'm placed on something hard. I try and shift but strong arms keep me in place, I slowly look up even though I think I know who it is but I still look. I look up and see, Chen looking down at me with sad and tired eyes.

-Why did you move? I need my cuddles.

-I just wanted to give you time to think.

-I don't need time to think, I want you and only you plus you're mine. To quote you... There's only 1 thing 2 say 3 words 4 you, I love you.

He even did the finger motions but he had difficulty doing the pinky then the L and the pointing to me, so I took his hand in mine. I showed him the motions laughed and kissed my hand. I cuddle into him.

As I fall asleep I hear him say...

-Your hands are cold I need to warm them up for you.

Then I feel his hands cover mine while we spoon and I fall into a painless and blissful sleep.
