Chapter 56

The Previous Chapter

I have become obsessed trying to find out who kidnapped us. I left the guys and Keiko because they would only drag me down and try and keep me sane but I need to find out who it is. I bought an apartment away from everyone and kept doing my research. I got close to taking off their hood a few times but no luck. I have learned to patch my self up and how to break the soulmate bond, while doing the research so now Chen won't feel any pain, and I send a nice letter to SM telling them that I can't work there anymore. I have also changed my phone number, so they can't contact me or track me. I'm now heading to the fortress, again. I enter the room and step over the traps. I get to where the figure usually is but there is just a note there.

-Sorry to bother you but we have moved to a place where we can find you but you can't find us good luck Isabella.

I crumple the letter and walk out. I go to my apartment and ponder more about who it could be. It had to be someone who was close to us, but who?

Isabella-Rose's P.O.V.

I'm eating when the doorbell rings I look at who it is. It's just the building manager.

-What? (Isabella-Rose)

-Just want to know if you are okay you haven't left the place in 3 months. (Manager)

-I'm fine just working on a project. (Isabella-Rose)

-Okay, well good luck. (Manager)

-Thanks. (Isabella-Rose)

I go back to working on my "project" I reread the letter, trying to find out where they could be. The only regret I have with how I left them was that I left Zeus, alone there. I left the house without warning so I wonder what they are doing with the pets. Because the letter said they were close I figured that they would be in a 50 mile radius so I did some research and found that an old abandonment building was bought and now is being worked on. So I get my stuff and head over there. There is a note on the door.

-Nice try, but wrong. Have fun with this and try again you might get there or we will get to you.

I crumple the note and go in any way as I walk in I hit a wire and then there are bombs counting down from one minute I rush out and try and tell people and they clear away. After the bomb reporters and ambulances come. A few people from the bomb squad go in and then come rushing out.

I'm glad I have a mask on so that when I see the camera focus on me I hid even more of my face with my hair, I have kept it straight. I take cover and after that happened the news people were asking why there were minimal casualties. A lady stands up and points at me.

-She warned us and saved us. (Lady)

The lady kinda looks like miss Lucy.

-Miss Lucy? (Isabella-Rose)

-Isabella? (Miss Lucy)

I shake my head and walk off. I get back to my apartment and turn on the news it's talking about the bombing and shows Miss Lucy saying I'm the hero, but you can't even tell it's me. Then I goes back to the reporter.

-Who is this mystery woman? (News lady)

Then commercials and then there a few theories but of randoms people from the military and police, but whatever. I go over my notes and try and think of how I could have missed something. After a while I go down to get some food because I ran out. I got up to the front desk to ask why they haven't sent up some food and I run into Miss Lucy.
