Chapter 19

Tris pov

We moved in a week. Tobias Parents and my parents searched for houses like crazy. Today we're at the house getting ready to move everything in. I just stand there and watch everyone do the work while I hold a box of pillows.

Finally everything is moved in and settled. Even the baby's room is ready.

The walls are painted a light blue and his theme is animals. While everyone is talking in the living room I walk into the baby's room and look around.

I stand by the crib and look out the window that's next to it. It's night time and all the stars are out.

Strong arms wrap around me and I hold on to them. Tobias hands rubs small circles on my belly.

"What are you doing in here" Tobias says kissing my head.

"I was just looking around. I like being in here" I say turning around to face him. He still rubs my belly, while I rest my arms around his neck.

"And whys that" Tobias ask me smiling

"I don't know, it's my favorite room in the house" I say and he chuckles.

He bends down and gives my belly a kiss.

"I can't wait for our baby boy" he says

"I know but it looks like he wants to stay in here forever" I say rubbing my belly giggling.

"No, he'll come out eventually. Doesn't he want to meet mommy and daddy" Tobias says and we laugh together.

"We still haven't picked a name" I say running my fingers through Tobias hair.

He stands up and nods.

"I know, want to think of some before we go to bed" he says

"Yeah, but right now can we get something to eat" I say

"Whatever you want" he says kissing my head and I giggle.

We walk into the kitchen and see that there's no food in the fridge. I rub my belly and groan.

"Mom" I yell

These past few days I've been really cranky and a little demanding.

"Yes Tris" she says walking into the kitchen with an annoyed face. Evelyn comes in behind her.

"What's wrong this time" my mom says

"I'm hungry" I say pointing to the empty fridge.

"It's almost 10 o'clock at night, we ordered take out 2 hours ago" my mom says

"I know I ate, but that was 2 hours ago" I say

"Can you just go to bed and wait for the morning" she says

"We had a big day, your mother's right" Evelyn says

"I don't mean to sound disrespectful but I'm feeding for 2 people. One meal is not going to
Last" I say crossing my arms.

"Tris, I know that sweetheart but what do you want me to do" my mom says yawning

"Nothing it's fine, I'll just wait until morning. You guys are practically starving me to death" I say and Tobias looks at me.

"Tobias please take your ungrateful pregnant girlfriend to get something to eat" my mom says to Tobias and he nods.

She stares at me and walks away.

"Tris, baby that was too far" Tobias says and I roll my eyes and walk away.

I walk into the room Tobias and I are sharing and slam the door.

I know I'm acting like a complete bitch but so what I'm pregnant and exhausted. In a matter of days I'm going to pop.

I've just been really cranky lately, so everyone's going to have to deal with it, because I'm feeling so miserable these past few days.

It's been 20 minutes and Tobias walks into our room, with a McDonalds bag.

I get out of bed and hug him. I reach for the bag but he pulls it away.

"Apologize first" he says

"Tobias she doesn't under-" I start to say

"Apologize" Tobias says and I sigh.

"Okay" I say then walk to the Kitchen where my mom is at.

"Mom" I say placing a hand on my belly and she looks at me.

"What" she says

"I'm sorry and I shouldn't have reacted the way I did" I say and she looks at me, kind of with a smile on her face.

"I know you didn't mean it. I didn't mean the stuff I said" she says and I smile at her.

"Your probably feeling so miserable now that the baby is coming, trust me I know I went through it 2 times" she says and I giggle.

"Give me a hug" she adds, so I waddle over to her and we hug.

"Okay, goodnight mom. Tobias and I are going to think of some names" I says and she smiles

"Goodnight sweetheart I love you" she says

"I love you too" I say then walk back into my room.

I lay next to Tobias and give him a kiss.

"You always know how to fix problems" I say

"That's what I'm here for" he says and I giggle.

He hands me a burger and he eats his. We lay there for a while. Then he breaks the silence.

"What about Connor" Tobias says bring up names.

"I like that" I say rubbing my belly.

"But I also like the name John" I add

"That's a good name" Tobias says

"Connor John Eaton" Tobias says putting everything together.

"I like it" I say smiling at him, then looking down at my belly.

"Let's get some rest" Tobias says and I nod.

He reaches over and turns off the light. Once he's comfy on his side of the bed I lay my head on his chest. He wraps his arms around me and we fall fast asleep.
