Chapter 49

Tris pov

It's been a month and Tobias and I looked really hard for jobs. It was pretty easy, I guess.

Our old high school actually offered us jobs with the help of Lea. She told the counselor that we needed jobs so Tobias was offered to help coach the football team.

I was offered the job to help/ talk to all the pregnant girls at the school. Surprisingly there are a lot of pregnant girls at that school now. The girls will come to me instead of going to health class everyday. It's only one period of the day they see me, unless they Want to talk any other time.

Christina, Will, Zeke, Shaunna, Uriah, and Marlene are also working throughout the school too.

I think all the boys are working as coaches and the girls are working as teachers helpers. I'm the only one that gets my own classroom.

What jobs we're about to have. I didn't think I'll ever be going back to that school, but I guess I was wrong.

I turn over in bed and look at Tobias. I've been up for quit awhile.

His arms wrap tighter around me and he snuggles his head closer to me.

"Tris go back to sleep" he mumbles

"I can't I'm already up" I say holding his hand.

He rubs his eyes and faces me.

"Uh good morning" he says kissing my head.

"Good morning" I say laying my head on his chest.

"Excited about today" he says

"A little, I'm a little nervous. What if the girls don't like me" I say

"They're going to like you, trust me" he says and I giggle.

"I want to move out" I say

"Me too" he says rubbing small circles on my hand.

I look up at him and kiss his soft lips.

"Let's get ready" I say

We walk into our old high school and see all the familiar things.

Zeke and the rest of our friends see us walk in so they walk over to us. Greeting us with hugs.

School doors open in about an hour, so no students are allowed in the building yet, just us.

Tobias holds my hand as we all walk through the halls remembering things.

We pass by the teachers lounge and Zeke stops.

"Since we work here now, does that mean we get to go in the teachers lounge" Zeke ask

"I guess so" Christina says

"Nahhhh, who wants to go in there" Zeke says and we all laugh.

I look down at my watch and read the time. It's 7:00, students are now allowed in the building, and I have to go meet with the counselor.

"I got to go guys, the counselor wants me to meet her in her office at 7" I say

"Okay bye tris, see you later" they say
