Chapter 51

Tris pov

I'm sleeping when I feel Tobias unwrap his arms from me. I slowly start opening my eyes to see where he's going.

"Babe, Where are you going" I say putting his arm back around me.

"To the bathroom" he says unwrapping his arm from me again.

I sit up in bed and rub my eyes. I look over at the time and see its 5:45am.

"We're getting up soon, so I guess I'll just get ready now" I say

"No" Tobias says loudly and runs over to sit with me.

"Okay" I say awkwardly

"Go back to sleep I'm going to the bathroom, I'll be right back" he says and I nod.

"Okay then" I say. He puts the blanket on me and kisses my head.

"Happy birthday" he whispers then walks out.

I just ignore how weird Tobias is acting right now and go back to sleep.

The alarm wakes me up and I realize Tobias never came back.

I get out of bed and walk out of our room. I look in the bathroom, empty. I look in the kitchen, empty. I check Connors room, empty. I look around the whole house and there is no sign of Tobias.

I try calling him and it goes straight to voicemail.

My mom walks into the living room where I'm at and hugs me.

"Happy birthday sweetie" she says and I give her a smile.

"Do you know where Tobias is" I say

"Nope, have no clue" she says

"Okay" I say and walk back to my room to get ready.

"Want me to make you something" she ask

"No thanks" I say and start getting ready for work.

I'm walking through the halls to get to my classroom. Tobias hasn't answered any of my phone calls, I'm worried and mad at the same time.

I try calling my friends and they don't answer either.

"Why does no one answer the phone" I say opening the door to my classroom.

I turn on the light and everyone Jumps out and screams surprise.

Tobias, the girls, and my friends are all here.

I look at Tobias and shake my head laughing, but it's soon starts turning into tears.

"I was calling you" I say as he walks closer to me. Tears start rolling down my cheeks.

"Awww" I hear the girls say

"I thought you went missing or something" I say wrapping my arms around his neck and he places his around my waist.

"I would never leave you" he says wiping my tears. I smile and he kisses my head.

"Come on four kiss her" Zeke says and I giggle.

He looks at me and we smile at each other. He takes his arms from around my waist and puts them so that his hands rest on my cheeks.

His lips touch mine and we kiss for about a few seconds. I wish it could've went on longer but there are students in the room.

"Now that's a kiss" Zeke cheers

"Fourtris is so cute" Sarah screams. ( me too Sarah, me too 😂 )

Tobias holds my hand and we walk around the classroom.
