Chapter 24

Tris pov

Today there's no school for some reason but I don't care I hate school. (A/N: me too 😂 )

I hear Connor crying so I walk over to his room, rubbing my eyes.

"Connor it's 6am, please let mommy rest for a little more" I say picking him up and rocking him. He continues to cry and I pat his back.

"Shh shh" I say

I put him on the changing table so I decide to change his diaper. I put a new onesie on him and then pick him up and put a pacifier in his mouth.

He stops crying, but I know if I put him down he won't go back to sleep.

I hold Connor on my hip and walk to the kitchen.

I open the fridge with my free hand and look through it to see what I can eat.

"What should we make buddy" I say kissing Connors chubby cheeks. He spits his pacifier on the floor and starts clapping his hands.

I giggle and pick it up. He reaches for it out of my hand but I have to wash it. Connor starts to whine a little.

"Let mommy clean it a little" I tell him, rinsing it under warm water. He whines even more so I bounce him a little.

"Here you go" I say placing it in his mouth and he stops whining.

I grab eggs and bacon from the fridge then put Connor in his height chair with some blocks to play with.

"How about we make breakfast for daddy" I say to Connor and he laughs and claps his hands.

I crack some eggs into a pan and put the bacon next to it.

Connor starts to cry so I lift him out of his height chair and hold him at my side. He watches the food sizzle on the pan. He sucks on his finger and giggles.

"You like the food on the pan buddy" I say tickling him.

"Yes you do, yes you do" I say continuing to tickle him and make him laugh.

The food is finished so I put it on a plate and hold it with my free hand.

"Ready to give this to daddy" I say walking to our room and he laughs.

We walk into the room and Tobias is still sleeping.

I sit Connor on my side of the bed and put the plate on the bedside table.

"Tobias" I say

"Aqkhfvjwdjzhr" Connor screams and Tobias turns his head and smiles. He sees me and Connor and smiles. He lifts Connor up and Connor laughs.

"Good morning buddy" he says to Connor

"Good morning" he says looking at me smiling. I lay next to him and he wraps an arm around me.

He kisses my head and I smile. I close my eyes and try to rest for about a few seconds.

"We made you breakfast" I mumble to him and he smiles.

"Thanks" he says playing with Connor.

"I'm so tired" I whine, rubbing my eyes

"Lay down for a little I'll watch Connor" he says and I shake my head no.

"No it's okay" I say

"Tris, it's fine. Rest" he says and I giggle.

"Fine but only for 30 minutes" I say and he chuckles, kissing my head. He grabs the plate of food and walks out the room with Connor some where.

I lay back, close my eyes, and sleep.

I wake up and look at the clock. I got about an hour of sleep. I decide to get out of bed and see what Tobias and Connor are up too.

I walk into the living room and see Tobias in the living room. I giggle and he smiles at me.

"Look who's up" he says smiling and patting the seat next to him.

I walk over to him and sit in his lap. He wraps his hands around me and I lay my head on his chest.

"Where's Connor" I ask

"Sleeping" Tobias says and I nod.

"Your so cute when your tired" he says and I giggle.

"Well your cute all the time" I say still giggling.

He gives me a kiss and I try so hard not to deepen it, but that's what I end up doing.

Tobias lays on top of me and I giggle and pull away from our kiss.

"Our parents" I say

"There not here" he says chuckling and I shake my head and kiss him. We lay on the couch making out for about 5 minutes.

Then without hearing the door open our parents walk in on us making out. They look at us and we look at them.

"I think it's time to have that talk" my mom says to Evelyn

Tobias gets off of me and our parents sit across from us.

"Listen tris and four, I know your teenagers and your hormones are every where but-" my mom starts to say but I cut her off

"Mom we don't need to talk about this" I say and she shakes her head no.

"No, I think we do need to talk about this. You 2 already have a baby due to sex. Do you want another one" Evelyn says

"Mom, we weren't doing that" Tobias says

"That wasn't my question, I asked if you want another baby, because that's where that would have led too" Evelyn continues and we shake our heads

"Did you have a condom on you" Marcus ask Tobias and I cover my face with my hands.

"No, there in the bathroom" Tobias says

"So you were going to get one right" my dad says

"Dad please stop, we weren't doing that" I say and my mom crosses her hands over her chest.

"We were teenagers once we know how it feels to want to have sex" Marcus says and I almost throw up. It's weird hearing your parents say that word

"For the last time we were not doing that" Tobias says

"Then what were you doing" Evelyn ask

"Kissing" Tobias says

"When a boy and a girl like each other they kiss. That's all we were doing" Tobias adds

"Well until you guys graduate and get your own
Place I don't want none of that anymore when we're here, not here, whatever." My mom says

"Kissing leads to make outs, make outs lead to sex. We don't want you 2 having sex and we really don't want Tris getting pregnant again." Evelyn says and I rub my eyes and sigh.

"If I hear the word sex one more time I think I'm going to barf" I say

I hear Connor crying so I stand up and walk to his room. Yay I finally escaped that uncomfortable talk.
