Chapter 43

Tris pov

I'm wrapped comfortably in Tobias arms, when I awaken to someone nudging me.

During the middle of the night I started throwing up and I was just not feeling good.

"Tris wake up" my dad says waking me up. I rub my eyes and sit up. Tobias wakes up and does the same.

"What's wrong" I say

"Your mother is having the Baby, her water just broke" my dad says

"Okay, let me get some shoes on" I say but my dad stops me.

"Your mom wants you to stay home, your sick. She doesn't want you to get anymore sicker or for you to get other people sick" he says

"But-" I say trying to argue, but he interrupts me.

"Just listen to what your mother says" he says

"Dad-" I say

"Tobias, tell her" my dad says to tobias and he looks at me.

"Tris, your parents are right, your sick. Just rest. Your mom is going to be okay" Tobias says and I sigh.

"Fine" I say

"Tobias please watch over her" my dads says and Tobias nods.

"Of course" Tobias answers

"We'll keep you updated" my dad says, then leaves the room.

I cover my hands with my face and glance over at the clock. It's 2 am.

"What's wrong" Tobias says hugging me.

"It's just my mother is going to be in so much pain right now and I'm not going to be able to do anything. I just want to be there for her like she was there for me" I say starting to cry.

"Tris, your mom is going to be fine, she's delivered you and Caleb. She knows what she's doing" he says and I smile.

"Plus my mom will be there, to help. Don't cry and don't worry. Just try to rest and feel better" he adds, wiping my tears.

"So how are you feeling" he ask and I shake my head a little.

"Awful" I say grabbing a tissue and blowing my noes.

"Aww my poor baby. Is sick" Tobias says getting out of bed. I giggle and watch him walk over to me.

"I'm going to the kitchen to get you some medicine and the thermometer" he says and I smile.

"Your the best boyfriend ever, you know that" I say smiling.

He leans down and kisses my head.

"I know" he says and I giggle.

"I'll be back" he adds and walks out.

When he comes back he has cold/flu medicine, with a glass of water and a thermometer.

He sits next to me and hands me the pills and glass of water. I put the pills in my mouth and swallow them with the help of the water.

"Say ahh" he says

"Aww Tobias the doctor, I like it" I say and he chuckles & winks at me.
