Chapter 57

Tris pov

"So is there anything else you want me to pick up at the store while I'm there" I say to Tobias as he throws Connor up in the air. I'm going to the store to get stuff for Tobias baseball game tonight.

Him and our guy friends are on a baseball team now, so it's the girls jobs to get them snacks. lol

"No, I think you covered everything in your list and we have everything we need in the house" he says walking over to me. He puts Connor on the floor and Connor runs over to his blocks. I should of grabbed him because he's going with me.

"Okay, I'll see you later" I say pecking his lips.

"Yeah, see you at the game" he says

"Connor buddy come on, let's go bye byes" I say

"No mommy" Connor whines, I put my purse on the counter and walk over to get Connor.

"If your good mommy will get you a treat at the store" I say cleaning up his blocks

"Oh a treat. That sounds good buddy" Tobias says coming behind me and cleaning the blocks up too.

"Okay" Connor says putting some blocks back in his bin, but leaves Tobias and I to clean it all up.

"Say bye to daddy" I say to Connor picking him up before he runs off some where else in the house.

"Bye daddy" he says waving his small little hands

"Bye buddy" Tobias chuckles kissing his head.

"Bye, love you" I say one last time then start walking out the door

"Love you too" Tobias says back

I buckle Connor in his car seat and then get in my seat. Then start driving away to the store

I get a call so I answer it with the steering wheel, I don't like using my phone and driving. It's really dangerous. It's my mom.

"Hey mom" I say

"Hi sweetie, what are you doing" she ask

"Going to the store. Connor say hi to grandma" I say

"Hi grandma" he says

"Hey baby boy, how are you" my mom says

"Good" he says

"That's good" my mom says

"So tris, sweetheart when are you coming over for dinner or something. We really miss you" my mom says talking back to me now.

"Soon, maybe after Tobias baseball game well take a quick visit. It depends how Connor is behaving" I say

"Okay, we really want to see you guys" she says

"Yeah, we'll be over Soon" I say

"Just please when we come over don't talk about Tobias and I having more babies because we're not having any more babies any time soon. Maybe in the future we'll have another kid but now no" I add

"Okay, I'll do as you wish. Now please come over when you get the chance" my mom begs

"Okay okay, got to go. I'm at the store" I say

"Come over whe-..." My mom starts saying but I interrupt her.

"Okay, bye I love you" I say then hang up. I park the car in the parking lot and get out to get Connor.

I get Connor out of his car seat and walk into the store. I grab a cart and put Connor in the little chair that the children sit in.

"Daddy wants sunflower seeds, Gatorade, Doritos, and a cake because tomorrow is uncle Zekes birthday." I say ticking Connors little body.
