Chapter 30

Tris pov

Yesterday Connor got his cast off. He's had it on for a whole month. But the month went by fast.

Connors asleep and Tobias and I are making lunch in the kitchen. It's a 4 day weekend and it's only Saturday.

Our parents walk into the room, with bags and bags.

We look at them and our parents look confused.

"No body told you" My mom says and we shake our heads no.

"Told us what" Tobias says

"We're going to a beach in New Jersey. It's going to be a drive but we think it's worth the drive" Evelyn says.

"It's only parents only" my dad says

"And what are we" I say

"Our children" Evelyn says

"Mom, do you think of us as parents" Tobias ask

"Yes, you guys are wonderful parents. This is just a vacation for the adult parents" Evelyn says and I nod.

"Okay then" I say

"Have fun, we'll be back in 3 days" Marcus says

"But not too much fun" my dad says and they all laugh.

They grab there bags and leave out the door. I walk behind them and lock it.

I look at Tobias and he has his hands open to give me a hug.

I walk up to him and he wraps his arms around me.

"We get to spend our 4 day weekend home" I say

"At least we have the place to ourselves" he says lifting me up and kissing me on the counter.

We get interrupted by the phone ringing.

Tobias looks at the caller id and shows me.

It's his mom.

He answers it and puts it on speaker.

"Hi mom" he says

"There's condoms under the sink, if you need any" she says and I slap my hand to my head.

"Mom, please stop" Tobias says

"Just use protection and be safe" my mom
Says into the phone and I sigh.

"Okay bye love you" I say and hang up.

I lay my head on Tobias chest and he rubs my back.

"What's wrong" he says chuckling.

"Our parents just always bring up the weirdest conversations" I say and we laugh, he picks me up and we start walking somewhere.

"Want to take a bath" he says entering the bathroom.

"What" I ask brushing my hair out of my face.

"Want to take a bath" he says again.

"Tobias I'm not in the mood right now to make out and have sex, our parents ruined the mojo" I say and he chuckles

"Okay if that's what you want but I won't kiss you or touch you inappropriately, I just want to hold you" he says

"In the bath" I question

"Yes, a nice hot bath" he says

"It's cold outside, let's just take a nice hot bath." he whines, so I smile and nod.

"Okay" I whisper.

"Let me get the baby monitor just in case Connor wakes up" he says, leaving the bathroom.

I turn on the water and let the tub fill. I put some lavender scented bubbles and start taking off my clothes.

Once the tub is filled I get in and close my eyes and wait for Tobias.

Tobias gets in the tub and wraps his arms around me.

I lay my head on his chest and we sit there in quiet.

"This is nice" I say

"Very relaxing" I add

"It is" he answers, pulling a strand of hair out of my face.

I look up at him a smile. He holds my hands and we sit there for a moment just staring into each other's eyes.

"Kiss me" I say

"I though you lost the mojo" he says chuckling

"Well the mojo, came back" I say and we laugh.

He holds my cheeks and leans his face closer to mine. Our lips touch and we kiss. It's nice, passionate and gentle.

I wrap my arm around his neck and he holds my waist and pulls me closer. He moves his lips off mine and places soft kisses all over my body.

I wrap both arms around his neck and he picks me up and we get out he tub.

He pushes our bedroom door open and lays me on our bed.

Then we make sweet, sweet love.

(A/N: sweet sweet love that sounds weird, but whatever 😂)

We lay there and Connor still hasn't woken up.

I checked on him but he was sound asleep.

Tobias brushed my hair out of my face and we smile.

"What" I say smiling. He's just staring at me.

"Why are you looking at me" I add

"Because your beautiful" he says and I bite me lip and look down.

He lifts my chin and we smile again at each other.

"You really are" he says and I start to giggle.

"Well thank you" I say kissing his cheek.

We lay there and start to fall asleep, but as soon as I close my eyes, Connor starts to cry.
