"Lavender, I have no idea what you are talking about." Amelia tried to keep her voice level.

"You think you're so perfect! Like you could never do anything wrong." She hissed.

"Are you serious right now?" Amelia cried in disbelief. "Why don't you just tell me what's wrong, then I can make it up to you?"

"You want to get with Seamus." Amelia was surprised venom didn't fly from Lavenders mouth.

She laughed, because it was so ridiculous. "That's insane. I don't like Seamus in that way! And he doesn't like me like that either!"

"I saw you two flirting away during Lockharts class. I'm not as stupid as you think!"

Amelia couldn't believe what she was hearing. "I don't think you're stupid! And I wasn't flirting with Seamus! I wouldn't do that to you!" She insisted.

"I think she's right." Parvati said quietly, and Lavender gave a heavy sigh.

"Fine!" She breathed. "But you can't talk to him anymore!"

"Yeah okay." Amelia said sarcastically. "Because I'm gonna drop Seamus as a friend just because you said so."

"It's your choice, Amelia. Me or Seamus." Lavender said with an air of great importance.

Amelia was in utter disbelief. "I'm not choosing. I'm friends with both of you and that's not about to change." She glared. "So shove that idea up your ass, Lavender."

Parvati nearly snickered, but stifled it with a cough.

Lavender on the other hand, was outraged. "You know what Amelia?"

"What?" She tried to be as condescending as possible.

"Fuck you."

"Oh! Good one Lav! I am so hurt!" Amelia rolled her eyes.

"You are such a bitch!" Lavender shrieked and ran out of the Great Hall.

"Oh come on!" Amelia called after her. "You're being ridiculous, Lav!"

"That wasn't very nice, Amelia." Parvati looked her squarely in the eyes. She was impressed by her courage, not a lot of people stood up to Amelia ever.

"She was being so thick! I didn't do anything!" She defended.

"Lavender is really intimidated by you." Amelia opened her mouth to protest but got cut off. "I'm not saying it's okay. But it's true, so just maybe cut her some slack."

With that Parvati left to go comfort her friend.

Amelia found Fred sitting with his twin and she decided to join them. "Lavender just ripped me apart, because she thinks I'm interested in Seamus Finnigan."

Fred scoffed. "What a crazy bitch."

"Don't call her that!" Amelia may have been frustrated with her, but Lavender was her friend.

But Fred just shrugged. "It's true. I've always known it."

"Can you stop?" She glared at him.

"Stop what? Telling the truth? Does that hurt Ickle Amy's feelings?" Fred talked to her like she was six years old.

"Don't patronize me, Fred. Just because you're a year older than me doesn't mean you are smarter or more mature. You're the most immature person I know!" She shot at him, he could drive her mad sometimes. Often times actually.

"Yeah? Then how come you're stuck hanging out with nut cases like her, and I don't have anything like that in my life?" He paused for a moment and looked thoughtfully at the ceiling. "Oh wait I hang out with you all the time!"
