A/n sorry this chapter took a while! I was so busy this weekend! I really appreciate all the comments btw! I absolutely adore them.

"First Hogsmeade weekend! How exciting is that?" Lavender squealed and clapped her hands, curls bouncing everywhere.

"Hogsmeade is really cool!" Amelia said.

"How'd you know that?" Parvati frowned and Amelia grinned.

She said, "the twins took me last year."

Lavender smacked her on the arm. "You never told us that!"

Amelia laughed, "Sorry!"

"Well at least you know all the cool places to go!" She sighed. They were sitting in the dormitory getting ready for their first trip.

"Sort of." Amelia shrugged. "But there's still lots I haven't seen and I'd love to go exploring with you guys!"

Lavender bounced where she sat. "Oh this is going to be so much fun!"

The three girls walked down to the common room where the third year boys were waiting for them.

"Looking good, Lav." Dean complimented and Lavender blushed. The group walked down to the entrance hall where McGonagall told them the rules about the Hogsmeade trip. When they arrived at the village, everyone was buzzing with the thrill of being allowed to leave the castle. The Gryffindor third years immediately went off by themselves to go exploring.

"I want to go to Zonkos!" Seamus whined as they headed down a strange looking alley.

"Really, Seamus, how perfectly ordinary of you!" Parvati rolled her eyes and Amelia snickered slightly.

"Something funny Merlin?" Seamus taunted her playfully.

"Nothing!" She tossed her hair innocently. They passed Sapana's shop but Amelia decided not to tell them what was inside. She hated having dreams every night and she wasn't about to go into one willingly. So they continued walking until Neville stopped outside an interesting looking place. It was short and with a dark wooden door frame and an intricate sign that read:

Libra's Photography Studio

"We should go get a photo done of all of us!" Lavender exclaimed. "It would be great for memories and we could come back each year and get another one done!"

"I think that's a great idea!" Amelia pushed open the door and everyone followed her in. She strode up to the counter where a short man stood.

"What can I do for the pretty girl?" He said in a nasally voice.

"We'd like to get a photo done, of all of us!" She said politely.

The man led them through the shop to the back where there was a blank backdrop. "Everyone stand there."

They all crowded in together so the camera would capture all of them. The girls stood in the middle with their arms around each other's waists, Lavender rested her head on Amelia's shoulder. The boys goofed around in the back so when the puff of smoke finally went off, they all looked like idiots. They each paid for a copy of the photo and everyone roared in laughter at Seamus's face in the photo.

"Oh come on! It's not that bad!" He protested.

"It really is." Dean wiped a tear away and the gang continued down the cobbled street. Neville tripped a total of five times and had some pretty spectacular falls. They went to the Three Broomsticks for drinks and saw a bunch of other third years there.
