The weeks passed by quickly and Amelia found herself thinking less and less of Kalishterya. It was almost like a dream now, some far off life that she had never even been a part of. But there was still a small part of her that hated Cedric terribly for what he had unknowingly done. Which was why she had been avoiding him for so long, but when he approached her one day, while she was sitting alone reading under a tree, Amelia had no choice but to confront him.

"Hey there stranger." he said with a small crooked smile. Amelia felt her heart tug at his voice but even worse, she felt it pulling away.

"Hey!" she said weakly.

"Haven't talked in a while."

"True." she mused.

After a moment of terrible silence Cedric spoke quickly. "Did I do something wrong, Amelia?"

She opened her mouth to speak then closed it. What could she say? Yes, you murdered my dreams and I can't figure out how to forgive you for it. Especially since you just pretend like it never happened. Instead of saying all that she just said, "Sort of, yeah."

He knelt down beside her and his eyes pleaded with her conscious. "Please tell me so I can make it better."

"Can you really not think of anything?" she said, shocked. "Really Cedric?"

"Amelia, please. Just tell me what it is!" he insisted.

"I shouldn't have to!" her voice rose. "I think it's pretty fucking obvious what you did! And why it was wrong!"

Confusion littered his face. "I don't know what you're talking about." he said quietly.

"Think really hard." she said viciously. This was unbelievable.

"I'm being honest with you right now. I have no idea what you're talking about!" there was a fierceness about him that almost made her believe it was true.

"Don't fucking lie to me Cedric!" Amelia stood up with a wild energy. "I'm not stupid!"

"I know you're not! You're one of the smartest people I know!" he stood with her and reached out for her hand, but she just crossed her arms. "Please, Amelia."

"No." she shook her head, feeling tears prick her eyes. "I'm not playing this game with you. I'm not going to lay out the whole situation because you know what you did and you know why I can't just forgive that so easily."

"Amelia-" he pleaded but she had had enough.

"No Cedric. I'm done. I am so fucking done with you. This is over." she turned on her heel and stormed back to the castle, she could hear her heart pounding in her ears.

"Amelia! I don't even know what you're talking about! You're breaking up with me for no reason!" he shouted after her but his words barely registered in her brain.

How could he be so stupid? How did he not realize that murdering that kid was a bad thing? How did he not remember?

Amelia found an empty classroom and shut the door. Her fingers tugged at the necklace around her throat and she felt the pressure building in her body. At any moment she felt like the might explode.

"aperire animo." she whispered to herself. It was the only thing that would be able to calm her down at a time like this. Slowly the words worked their strange magic and she no longer felt out of control. Now she could think about what happened. The easiest way to do it was to write everything down, so Amelia snapped her fingers. A quill, ink bottle and parchment appeared out of nothing. Her wandless magic was getting much stronger now. She decided to put it all in a letter to Jeremy. Maybe he could help make sense of the whole thing.

Dear Jeremy,

So you might know that I've been seeing Cedric Diggory for a long while now. Something really weird happened a little while ago. We were in the Room of Requirement (I don't know if you know what that is but I'm not going to explain it now), and the little boy from my dreams appeared there. Long story short, some crazy stuff happened and Cedric accidentally killed him. After the boy died, I told Cedric to forget about it and let me deal with it, which I did. After that whole situation, some weird stuff started happening. Or more like it stopped happening. I haven't had any dreams in a while, and I don't get notes or anything like that from Akkedis anymore. Everything is just stopped. And I hate myself for thinking it, but I blame Cedric. And the worst part is too, I miss it all. I miss having the adventure and stuff like that. It sounds crazy but it's true. Last but not least, Cedric is acting like he doesn't know what happened. He's playing dumb and pretending the whole situation didn't even occur. It made me so mad and I had to break up with him. I feel more alone than ever.

I can't talk to anyone else about this, they just wouldn't understand. The girls don't know the whole story, and Fred would just be so happy that I'm not dating Cedric anymore, (he was always against the two of us being together, which is so freaking annoying.). You're the only person I can talk to about this. I just need to understand what is going on.

I don't get what Cedric's angle is on this and I don't know why the dreams have stopped. They were my only connection to Kalishterya. And I need to find that place. I know I do.

Please send advice, and help.

Hope you're doing well,

Amelia.

With that she sealed the letter. Just by thinking about it, an owl appeared at the nearest window. Amelia walked over and attached the letter to it's outstretched leg.

"Take this to my brother." the owl gave a small hoot and flew away, leaving Amelia, once again, alone. It was all she could do for the next few days to wait for Jeremy's reply.

A/N hey dudes! Write in the comments what you think is going on with Cedric and why he's being so weird about the whole situation! What advice do you think Jeremy is going to give? And did Amelia make the right choice in breaking up with Cedric?
