"What?" Professor McGonagall was shocked.

"It's complicated though. I don't really understand any of it myself. I need to talk to Professor Dumbledore!" Amelia insisted.

"The Headmaster is busy right now." she looked down at Amelia through her glasses. "Anything you can say to him, I assure you, you may say to me."

Amelia wasn't sure if she should talk to McGonagall. It was a very intricate subject, and she didn't know what the professor could do with the information. But Amelia had to do something, she couldn't sit by any longer. "Right." She tugged at the necklace, "Could we go somewhere private?"

"Of course, Miss Merlin." She ushered her to her office and Amelia sat down in an uncomfortable wooden chair across from McGonagall. The office was very neat and organized, everything seemed to have its place and Amelia did not feel like she belonged here. As though her presence made the place less tidy. Professor McGonagall stared at her and waited for Amelia to begin talking.

"Well, see, I don't know how helpful any of this will be. But weird stuff has been happening to me, and I think it has something to do with the Chamber of Secrets." her hands tied themselves into knots, as she spoke.

"Please, go on." McGonagall said kindly, and Amelia decided that she could trust this woman.

"Right. So I think it started with the dreams." she began talking. "I get weird dreams all the time you see, and usually they're just nightmares or something like that but they've been a bit different lately. And I think it's because of the Chamber being opened. Because usually the dreams happen at night, but I get visions during the day too. And it sounds mad, I know, believe me, but sometimes its like," Amelia paused, scared to continue.

"Like what?" Professor McGonagall pressed.

"It's like I'm the monster. I had a dream about attacking Collin Creevy, and I get these visions of tunnels, and when I'm in the tunnel, I think I'm on a mission." Amelia spoke slowly, and decided to leave the part about the wolf out. She trusted the professor, but she felt like the wolf was only meant for her to see. "A mission to kill someone."

"Why do you think this is associated with the Chamber of Secrets?" she looked bewildered.

"I know it is. And that sounds crazy, but its true! And there's something else." Amelia felt every muscle in her body tense.

"Something more than just dreams?"

Amelia was about to tell her about Akkedis, about the man who sent her bloody eyeballs. The man who had been to her home, and taken her tree down, and stolen her shirt. The man who knew everything about her, and had been close enough to her to steal the jewelry right off her throat, without her even realizing it.

But they were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Come in." McGongall's voice broke through the silence. And a man Amelia didn't recognize walked in the room.

"Minerva! Good to see you! You're needed in the Headmasters Office." he was tall and lean, with a flushed face, perfectly sculpted hair and unnaturally blue eyes.

"I shall come up when I am finished."

"I'm afraid it can not wait," the man clasped his hands together and rocked slightly on the balls of his feet. Amelia was impressed with his courage, not many people would have been able to stand the look Minerva McGonagall gave him just then.

"Merlin,"

"Yes Professor?" Amelia tried not to laugh at the look of relief on the mans face, when McGonagall turned her attention away from him.

"Could we continue this discussion at another time?"

"Of course!" they both stood up and left the office, McGonagall instructed the man to accompany Amelia to the dormitory.

They walked most of the way in silence, before Amelia couldn't stand it any longer. "So what's your name?"

"Atticus Wyatt." he said firmly.

"Sorry what?" Amelia said shocked.

"Atticus Wyatt." the man repeated and Amelia let out a breath of relief.

"I thought you said something else." she toyed with her necklace before speaking again. "Hang on. Wyatt. Like Sir Thomas Wyatt?"

"Who?"

"The famous poet?" she said slowly. Amelia knew not everyone enjoyed literature as much as she did, but seriously, he had to know who Wyatt was.

"Doesn't ring a bell." Atticus never made eye contact with her, he just strode down the long corridors, with his nose in the air. Amelia decided that this man could never be interesting, he seemed like a bit of a twat.

When they reached the portrait of the Fat Lady, Atticus gave a small bow before turning away. Just as she opened her mouth to say the password, she heard him call behind her.

"Oh and Amelia?"

"How do you know my name?" she said too quietly for him to hear. She knew that she hadn't told him.

"Akkedis sends his regards." the man said with a grin.

To this day, Amelia did not know how she got to the man so fast. Her hand was around his throat and although he was a good foot taller than her, he was no match for her. She dug her fingers into his neck and the mans face turned bright red.

"You tell Akkedis a little something from me." she whispered. Amelia could feel this mans essence. The way she felt the trees in the forest and the whip of the wind in her face. Amelia's Druid blood allowed her to connect with nature in a way no wizard could ever dream of. And this man right in front of her, happened to come from nature like any other human. Amelia made a box appear out of thin air and let go of the mans throat. He gave a huge gasp of air and tried to run away.

"What have you done to me?" he cried. "I can't move!"

"That's because we are not finished yet." she hissed at him. Amelia was no longer afraid, she was angry. And it was this anger that coursed through her blood and helped her do what she did next.

She held her hand above his face, so his left eye bore into her palm. Without hesitation, his eye was ripped from its socket. The man didn't scream, he didn't even realize what had happened, because Amelia had numbed that part of his face forever. But he did quiver at the sight of his bloody, blue eye being put into the small box.

Amelia snapped the lid shut and handed to Atticus, who took it feverishly.

"Put it in your pocket." She commanded. "And you tell Akkedis, Amelia Merlin sends her regards."
