"Amelia! Wake up! Wake up!" A low voice said loudly in her room as they slammed the door. She groaned and opened her eyes, still groggy and not entirely awake. But that changed very quickly when she saw two orange heads.

"Fred!" She sat up and laughed. "George! It's so good to see you guys!" Amelia reached out and hugged each of them.

"We're going to Diagon Alley today. Mum wants to know if you'd like to come?" Said George.

"Of course I'll come!"

"I'm so glad!" Fred beamed. "I've got so much to tell you!"

"Can't wait to hear it!" She laughed at how excited they both were.

"I bet your summers been a bit boring without us here?" Fred teased.

"Not as boring as you'd think!" He raised his eyebrows. "Seriously! The girls came to stay for a week and I had a birthday party and Cedric and I had a lovely dinner-"

"Cedric?"

"Oh don't start on that again." Amelia rolled her eyes at him. "You really need to get over it!"

"I am!" He insisted. "Cedric's a nice guy."

"Yeah I think Amelia knows he's nice." George pointed out.

The boys left and Amelia promised them she would meet them at the Burrow in half an hour. She was tempted to put on her blue dress but decided against it. Instead she just wore a simple t shirt and jeans, brushed her hair and put on a bit of makeup.

She grabbed some toast from Glapp and said goodbye to her friend. "I'll have my trunk delivered, it's all packed but I think we are going straight from Diagon Alley to the train station. I'll miss you Glapp!"

"And Glapp will miss the little mistress, and getting to see her lovely face everyday!" She hugged the house elf and then left the house. As Amelia exited the large oak doors she felt a sense of relief. She hated that house, as beautiful as it was. It was so full of anger and horror and Amelia couldn't stand to be there.

She ran through the golden field, her leather purse bouncing against her leg. Amelia laughed as her hair flew behind her like a cape. She reached the Burrow and burst through front door.

"Amelia!" Fred had been waiting for her and hugged her the second he walked in. "Let's go, the others are already there. We have some rooms in the Leaky Cauldron, you can share with Ginny."

They walked to the fireplace and used the floo powder to travel. Amelia coughed as she opened her eyes to see the Leaky Cauldron. She stepped out of the fire just as Fred arrived. They set their things in their rooms and said hello to the rest of the family.

"Amelia!" Percy strode over to her. "How absolutely marvellous to see you!"

"Percy!" She grimaced slightly as he shook her hand. "How was Egypt?"

"Fascinating! The curses on those tombs were-"

Fred cut in. "All right Perc, I highly doubt Amelia cares about anything you have to say." He tugged at her arm and Amelia gave Percy a smile to say no I totally do care.

"I'm sure she would be really interested-!" Percy called after her but Fred had already dragged her out the door.

"We're going out." He took her hand in his so they wouldn't be separated, and they walked down the crowded street together.
