A/n I just have to dedicate this chapter to CallieKastle for being such an enthusiastic reader and commenting so much! It really means a lot to me!

According to Harry, Amelia had shielded him from Voldemort's final attempt to kill him. When Harry lay passed out on the stone he was so vulnerable and weak, but Amelia took most of the blow.

"I have to thank you." Harry said but Amelia just shook her head.

"You really don't. I didn't even know what I was doing, I don't think you get credit for something that was a bit of an accident." She smiled at him and those green eyes smiled back. Once more, Amelia felt a surge of affection for Harry Potter. He was unfailingly kind and that was not something she took for granted.

"We didn't talk much this year."

"True." Amelia agreed. "But do you remember that time, down by the lake, when I almost convinced you there was a chance you were going to get eaten by a mermaid?" She laughed lightly.

"I never believed you." Harry denied with a small grin.

"Yeah whatever you say." The pair chatted for a long time. They talked about Quidditch (of course), and the Weasley family, and the way people always whispered about them.

"Honestly it was kind of nice for me when you nearly killed Draco, stopped everyone from staring at me!" Harry laughed as Amelia through a pillow at him.

They talked about how they didn't want to go home, because Hogwarts was their home. They talked about what it was like to have seen Lord Voldemort. Amelia was very impressed when she heard his story of what happened in the mirror room. Then she suddenly remembered what Voldemort had said to her, Akkedis sends his regards.

What the fuck did that mean?

But she doubted Harry would know so Amelia brushed it aside and continued
to talk to the dark haired boy.

Then Dumbledore came in. He asked Amelia to leave so he could speak to Harry. For some reason she didn't want to comply, she felt like she should stay with Harry and protect him but she left anyway. Amelia stood in the corridor outside the hospital wing, it was freezing cold.

After a while, Dumbledore came outside to talk to Amelia. "You have been so brave my dear." He said kindly.

"Not really, I think I was too stunned to actually be brave. I had no idea what was going on." She shrugged. "But I have a question, sir. It's about something You Know Who said to me."

"You may call him Lord Voldemort, Amelia." She felt a little weird about that but she nodded anyways. "What is your question?"

"Who is Akkedis?" The name felt familiar and foreign all at the same time. Like an old friend who had gone away and just recently come back.

"I think that is a story for another time," Amelia opened her mouth to interrupt him but stopped. "You have been through a pain only some can imagine, you have come out the other side, unharmed. But you need rest, Madame Pomfrey says you may go to the feast tonight, but only if you rest!" Dumbledore's words had a finality to them that she decided not to question.

But Amelia vowed then that she would find out who Akkedis was and what he wanted. Couldn't be that hard right?

Dumbledore walked her back into the hospital wing, said goodbye to her and Harry, then left.

"What did he talk to you about?" Amelia asked the skinny boy.

Harry shrugged. "Not really much. Just didn't answer my questions."
