Slight trigger warning for this chapter, if you're sensitive to lots of yelling, and abuse then I suggest you don't read this chapter. I'll always put in trigger warnings, so you guys don't have to worry! Anyways, enjoy this chapter!
I woke up on the floor, feeling a shooting pain in my back as I tried to sit up.
Damn those hardwood floors.
I had slept in Ashton's room with Luke and Calum last night. Consequently, I was booted to the floor because apparently they have zero knowledge of how to be a proper gentleman.
I yawned, and stretched my aching muscles, before quietly exiting the room, being extra careful not to wake them up.
I was not in any mood to deal with them, and they would just be cranky if I woke them.
I padded across the hall to my room, and decided to look in the mirror, which was a bad decision in itself.
I had major dark circles, and my whole face was red, due to my acne being particularly irritated this morning. Won't that stuff just go away?
My hair was a literal knot on top of my head. And by knot I do not mean a messy bun or some shit, I mean an actual knot. As in this thing would not be coming untangled for a long time.
I also looked particularly great in my fuzzy pajamas that are adorned in cute little cats, with Santa hats. Don't even try to judge me, I have cool pajamas. I'm not one to wear my boyfriend's t-shirt with knee socks and look all cute. It's baggy, fuzzy, pj's for me.
Christmas pajamas in June all the way.
I vaguely remember my parents telling me they're having company over at some point today, so I should probably get dressed so I don't scare anyone off.
It wouldn't be the first time though.
I put on a long sweater with some leggings, and began trying to untangle my rat's nest hair, but I as pretty unsuccessful.
Half an hour later I had my hair mostly straightened out, a somewhat presentable outfit, and my face wasn't as red. That was as good as I was going to get, so I decided to venture downstairs.
It was already around 1:00 pm, as I slept in pretty late, so I decided to get some lunch.
The boys were having a heated game of pass with an apple when I walked into the kitchen. But since I'm just the luckiest person ever, I walked in right as Calum threw it, leading to me getting hit in the forehead and tripping over my own two feet.
So that brings me to where I am right now, lying on the floor with Calum hovering over me.
"I'm so sorry Evie! I didn't know you were coming in," he spluttered, examining my face for any injuries.
Ashton was quick to shove him out of the way, muttering a few profanities at him.
"You okay?" He asked before grabbing my hand and pulling me up to my feet.
I simply shot Calum a glare and grabbed some leftovers from the diner, swiftly walking back up the stairs and into my room.
The boys were smart enough not to disturb me, probably knowing I didn't want to be bothered. But I mean it's not my fault, Calum was the one who hit me in the face with a damn apple.
I fell onto my bed, food in hand. I checked my phone, and saw no messages from Michael, sadly. I wanted to talk to him, so I decided to just call him on Skype.
I have no idea what time it is for him, but he seems to always be up, and at his house, so I wasn't worried.
After a few rings he finally picked up.
