Mindless Behavior Trapped emotions

Hi, my name is Kaylynne and im gonna tell how the story goes!!

'Mom' I said going downstairs, "Me and Josh are gonna go get our swimming suits now . "

'OK tell your dad that you and Josh are having a play date' Mom said before going to the restroom.

'OK' I yelled quickly heading to the elevator.

When I got to the elevator, Josh was scared to get on because of the awaiting people on the elevator. Once I looked to see who it was, i realised they were just old friends i had grown up with. Rayan, Jacob, Chresanto, and Craig.

I stepped in the elevator and got on in time before the door could close. At first it was quiet, then Ray said something, startling Josh.

"Kaylynne.."

He said with a puzzled look on his face

"That is Me "

I smiled and looked at him and the guys. They remembered me as well as i remembered them. We talked for a bit and he asked me what floor i was going to because this elevator was taking forever.

"Floor 9"

"That's the same floor we are headed to, so who's this little guy?" He asked

"My little step brother Josh, I don't think he wants to speak, he's a little shy."

He mumbled something under his breath, but I couldn't hear what he said.

" Im cold teetee " Josh said as he began to shiver. I told him I did not have mine. Im guessing Ray heard me, so he gave me his jacket for Josh. I wrapped it around him, and told Ray thanks.

It got quiet, and later my phone began to buzz in my pocket.

" Hello ? " I said into my phone. It was my dad. "Kaylynne, I want you to know that I love you and Josh so much and take care of your mom" .

"Dad wait", I said in a confused voice, after he hung up.

"Everything Okay ? " Ray asked in a concerned voice.

"I think so" I said with a puzzled face and voice, "Anyways thanks for the jacket.

"No problem just miss my best friend" he said smiling.

"Yeah, I missed you guys to. So what are you guys doing here anyways"? I asked.

"We were just here for our little vacation. Behlen was just talking about you the other day. "Princeton Said.

"That's Cool, and oh my gosh, I miss her so much ! " I said laughing in surprisement.

Finally, the elevator stopped. As we got off the elevator I gave Ray his jacket back and I realised that their room was right next to mine.

I walked to the room, holding Josh in my arms. The door was cracked open, but i barely paid any attention to it. I opened the door and my dad was on the floor. He had been shot.

I wanted to scream, but i just stared in shock. I shook my dad and told him to wake up. My eyes were not believing what they were deceiving. I pulled my phone out and called the police.

When I was getting ready to call, A man came from behind the door. He was an old friend of my father. Josh was now long asleep in my arms.

"Kaylynne, What are you doing?"

He questioned

"I'm calling the police, what does it look like?"

"You-You know I didn't mean to kill your father, right? "

"You did this-

He cut me off and grabbed me by my wrist. I looked at my wrist, then back to him. I always knew this guy was crazy, and now it really shows. A younger looking boy came in a grabbed Josh, running into the hallway.

I loosened out of his grip and scooted towards the wall, but he grabbed and dragged me by my ankeles. He then threw me on the bed. He tried to suffocate, me but I managed to kick him off of me. He grabbed me even tighter around my ankeles to pull himself off of the floor. He pulled out a tube with a needle. He was now holding my wrists.

"HELP !! " I screamed. He soon injected the needle into my arm. I became weak in an instant. My body went numb, I felt like I was being poisned-slowly.

He began to remove my clothes. As much as I wanted to lift a finger, I could not. He staryed with my shirt. Luckily, I had a tank top on.

Before he could reach the brim of my zipper on my shorts, Ray came in the room. "Kaylynne" He stopped talking after he saw what was going on.

"Ray help me please" I said in slured words, beginning to cry. He ran over to pull the man away from me and when he did, they started fighting and punching and kicking, but, I couldn't look.

The man jumped back on top of me. "Now, where were we" Ray immediately jumped up and pulled him off of me and punched him until he became unconscious.

"You ok babe-I mean Kaylynne? "

"I am now, Thanks"I said looking into his eyes I quickly turned my head to lose his gaze. "Did you say Babe?"

"Umm no I said-'' He was cut off when Roc ,prince, and Prodigy came in. ''Woah what happened here''?

"I can't explain but I need to find Josh" I said as I put my shirt back on. I ran out of the room and looked down the hall and I went to the vending machines and I saw Josh sitting there crying.

"Josh did he hurt you? " I asked him with fear in my voice.

He didn't say anything. He just ran to my arms giving me the tightest hug ever

"I just want to go swimming". He said as he wiped his tears looking up at me.

In went back to the room and called the police and mom.

While they got there I went to the pool with Josh. I had seen enough. First we went to the nearest bathroom to change, then we went to the pool and the boys were already there.

''Hey'' The guys said.

''Hi guys". I said in a worried voice.

''You Okay Kaylynne? '' Ray asked in a worried tone.

"Yeah, I'm fine" I said giving him a halfway smile.

"Can I get into the pool now" Josh asked tugging on my shirt.

"Yeah" I said as I yawned a little bit.

As I pulled my shorts and shirt off to reveal my purple and blue bikini, ray said something. "Purple is my favorite color" he said in a excited voice.

"Are you watching me undress? " I asked with a chuckle in my voice.

"Maybe, Okay I was a little bit" he said as he bit his bottom lip.

"Okay, whatever" I said laughing. After that me and Josh got in.

I jumped in the deep end and walked up to the other side cause I couldn't get up.

I saw Ray and started to walk over to him. He was playing Marco polo with Josh and the guys.

I think I'm starting to form a crush on Ray.I began to fall deep into his glance as I stared at him.

"Hey Kaylynne are you Okay ''. He said laughing a little bit.

"Yeah I was just day dreaming" I said staring into his eyes.

"Aye, Ray u still playing" prince yelled to get his attention.

"Yeah I'll be right there" he said as he asked me something.

"Hey wanna play Marco Polo with us" he asked in a gentle voice.

"Sure" Is said smiling at him.
